erm its a sad thing we CANNOT upgrade to wm5..i wish mine can then there is no need to worry for data earasure during power failure..............anyway our pda is too slow for wm5.

We don't have enough built in ROM to accomodate WM5 unfortunately. But even if we did(Eg.. XDA IIs/XDA IIi), There was no upgrade provided by O2 and those who got to flash their ROM to the new OS were using those created by Pros from the XDA-Developers site which don't guarantee smooth running and glitch free. Not advisable unless you're adventurous.

Im still using my MINI and Im happy with it. It depends on you really. I had the option to upgrade to O2 ATOM but I didn;t really need the advancements at the moment so iM Happy to stick to my O2 Mini and use the cash to get other things instead.

why u said mini using wm5 is too slow? mini got 416mhz cpu, while dopod only got 198mhz.
i bet if mini cpu with wm5 still faster than dopod 818pro.

actually there's someone already flashed to WM5
but many functions
such as voice recording and camera button not working
and some other software comptaible issue
and most important..lagging issue
so it's better to stay at WM2003
anyway..i am selling my Mini also
now going for 1 PDA 1 HP

julchin, wow is it good can play warcraft ah? i waiting 1 more month salary then can buy alkready
.........anyway is it relly lite and compact? i need one for easy travelling + presentation + if possible play game ehhehe......... any feedbacks? hot or not? battery life? cause dell no showroom i duno how to check lo

And Yeah WARCRAFT no problem. I've even tried Prince of Persia Warrior within,GTA - San Andres and LOTR Battle for Middle earth with this and it works fine......Hot? I think only if you use it for a long time. Battery life is around 4 hours with the 8cell battery. |
