Sorry guys, I did something with the GS Player options, I set mp3 as associations, after de-select the item, everything becomes normal again...ahhhhh

hey guys.
how do i change my alarm tones?? like changing to mp3 songs i haf inside my storage card..
the default alarm tone is so soft dat i woke up late for class this morning.. XD
pls teach me step by step as im still newbie in pda.

To change the alarm sounds, go to
Start > Settings > System > Clocks & Alarms

Tap the alarms icons to change the sound.

The sound located in \Windows

But I don't think you could set with mp3 tones, only .wav files. ...

What do u mean by "saving file to mem card"? Installed files/apps or mp3s or etc...

Or maybe if you wanna know what could be done with your Mini, go to MyPDACafe under Pocket PC... there are some hacks and secrets provided by them... or you could go to XDA-Developers too to check those stuff..

hey guys, im thinking of getting a 1GB SD card..
which brand sud i go for? eg. DNA, ADDVA, etc...

I think a lot of people go for the Transcend 1gb card. 75X i think it is. I on the other hand use a Kingston Elite-Pro 1gb card. Was more expensive than the Transcend when I got it. Don't know how much it is now.

Does anyone know how much a brand new o2 xdaII mini costs in the shops now?seriously thinking of getting a brand new one. apparently the pda guys in the curve dont sell them anymore. they were promoting the Dopod very vigorously and talking down the mini which I found a bit iritating. i like my salesguys to give me the facts rather than to push products.....

Well the sales people would definetly do that unless they have old O2 Mini stock left with them. THen they would try to push the Mini instead. They don't realise that the DOPOD is actually a clone of this very popular PDA/Phone Model. So popular that they chose to retain the look and feel of it.

I think you can still get the O2 Mini for less than RM2K. Some users quoted at RM1800 but personally I haven't seen this. Best bet would be Low Yatt/Sungei Wang.

To the users who quoted RM1800, would truly appreciate it if you could pls provide me with the exact name and location of the shop(s) carrying the mini at this price. no recon or 2nd hand units pls. last i checked, it was still going for abt RM2100 (grd floor - Ikano Power Centre).

Try not to go to the posh/middle class malls like IKANO/The Curve as rental is high there hence the higher prices.
