QUOTE(azfy @ May 4 2006, 09:46 AM) Normally what i done to run my mini smoothly is: how do i make the mini to install programs to mmc?, cause i use my pc to sync the sw from pc to mini and it was installed into the mini very fast without giving me time to choose which storage place to install those files to.1. I do close all program after i used it.. 2. All new program i install it into my SD card.. so mean in my mini memory only the basic software installed. 3. Try to avoid use any 3rd party software at your TODAY screen (desktop).. such as.. pocket plus.. O2 active.. etc.. At my today screen.. you can see very clean.. only have battery indicator.. it can help more... 4. Please ONLY install software that you really need.. 5. I only use stock theme.. haha... so far i do not facing any hang... lag.. or what ever problem from my mini.. it run smoothly.. p/s: just my opinion.. btw thanks for all those advice....... QUOTE(ychwang @ May 4 2006, 11:56 AM) my mini also never encounter any hang bcoz of low memory. thanks bro Try to isntall SPB pocket plus 3.0, it use only a bit memory and help you to close program whenever memory is running low. QUOTE(julchin_09 @ May 4 2006, 02:22 PM) Same here. SPB Pocket Plus won't take that much mem. Just install all programs in SD/MMC card, indicate programs to save files to SD/MMC, use less Today screen programs and you should be fine. thanks for everything........how to indicate those programs to sav files to mmc? i really like my avatar........... thanks again |

QUOTE(julchin_09 @ May 16 2006, 01:48 AM) I think have to check whether the O2 mini can take a 2GB card. If not then it might be a waste. Check with the shops first..... i guess it can support cause it will only read like a additional "harddisk'i actually store a few movies in pocket format in my rsmmc and view when i hav the time to do so........ |

QUOTE(julchin_09 @ May 16 2006, 01:56 AM) I see. Well its still better to check cos I read in another forum that the user couldn't get his O2 Mini to detect a 2GB SD-Card. Im not sure about MMC or RS-MMC... julian, wat do you think is the easiest way to find your contacts in alphabetic order to make a call thanks |
