[First of all...i am a real noob about Xbox.i have already done some surveys and researches on my own but still need additional infos.So please avoid replying any useless flames and comments.I want in depth explanation from any XBOX 360 sifus in Lowyat.net.]

My gaming profiles/styles:

1. I used to be a hardcore PC gamer,but since i work 6 days a week i have became a lite gamer.
2. I am not so into consoles online gaming,so extra online features is not necessary and only 1 controller is needed.
3. Just want Plug and Play.

My budgets :

Prior to the discussion conclusion based on terms (Cost/Performance/Life Span) below.But cheaper is good.

My Questions are:

( I already know about jasper and falcon thingies, no need to explain about that anymore, but good additional infos also are welcome)

1. What are the differences between XBOX 360 go/pro/arcade/elite? in terms of prices,performances,stability,cost over performance and life span.(u can add/suitable changes of any terms if its necessary )

2. Which one is the most price effective/Cheaper ?

(I'm thinking to get new Xbox 360 go play w/0 hdd i think.Because it is cheaper and later on (maybe a year) will add additional hdd for larger capacity.)

1. No difference between the SKU (stock keeping unit). The thing that dictates the X360 lifespan is the motherboard. Any X360 manufactured after June 2009 is guaranteed to be using the Jasper lo-mo board. From my personal experience, Jasper lo-mo board runs extremely cool compare to earlier version.


2. Depends on u lor. How much u willing 2 'let-go'. Or ur willing to wait for the X360 S (redesigned xbox) without HDD to reach Msia. Rumor has it has 5GB memory on board. Since ur not using it for online you won't need the xtra HDD space for DLC.


3. If ur not the picky type of PC gamer that goes:
A. ewww console texture lousy eh!
B. i is retard cant learn contwoller to pway eff-pee-ess
C. console games are casual retards!
than you will probably enjoy the X360.

Slim looks good but new release price must be sky high.Btw, what is DLC?

p/s : u are not answering my question though.i want the differences between those models (Excluding new release Slim version) go pro arcade elite based on the terms stated above.

FYI: I own ps,ps2,psp and use XBOX 360 wireless controller for my PC, so i dont have any no. 3 thoughts about consoles.TQ

Technically it should be the same price, but hey, Malaysia apa pun boleh naik mah lol

That's it. There is no functionality difference between arcade/pro/elite. The latter 2 only comes pack in with the HDD.
That. Is. It. And oh ya, elites are the only ones in black colour.


DLC = Downloadable content.
Imagine Starcraft: Brood War. But it was not released in physical format. Can only obtain trough an online store. That pretty much it.

What about go version then?

go is the 'GO PRO MUDDA FUKKA' version lol

arcade = no hdd

pro / go = hdd (i dunno currently they come in what size)

elite = 250gb (i think some they pack in Gears2 and Halo ODST)

I'm discussing about XBOX 360 not pornos.

Sorry to dragged you to my level.But i think i have already clarified that i am a noob about xbox 360 stuff.Please read carefully.

I'm "invited" to this thread, but seeing TS made up your mind on getting a modded one, sorry I can't participate.

I just want information about Xbox 360 models.Because there are so many versions.Its not like i am supporting piracy.Please be rational and cooperative.

What about go play version?

before this i saw someone selling go play version around rm600++.so cheap.

i think its about the package included.

Now only got Go Play (without HDD but with built in memory) and Elite (120GB or 250GB) only.

actually, if you just want to know about the difference packages of pro/go/elite/etc, you can just google it for the specs.

better if you buy packages with HDD, as it will help load time, more silent, and prolong the dvd drive lifespan. and since you already thinking of buying it next time, better now just buy packages with HDD.
