Liverpool set for Petrov move
Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is set to make a move for Aston Villa midfielder Stiliyan Petrov, according to The Mirror. Hodgson has pin-pointed the 30-year-old as a replacement for Javier Mascherano after the Argentinean has told the club he wants to leave. £7 million is believed to be the price the Anfield outfit are willing to offer for the Bulgarian's services. Petrov is not the only Villa player on the Liverpool radar, with full-back Luke Young reportedly on his way to Anfield for £2.5 million. |
