yeah...still good...using Cyanogen 5.08 now...OC at 576MHz..
No plan to change until 2 years later when i finish the current contract...
but for vodafone magic, the bottleneck is the RAM..only 192mb compare to 288mb for normal magic..
Dare not try those with Sense UI...lag like hell....

hmm... i can oc my Hero till 670+MHz leh... try higher la...

now the ROM that i am using is based on Legend... still pretty smooth as long as i dun use live wallpaper...

What happen if the overclock not stable on the phone? hang and it reset the clock?

that's the max my ROM..waiting for Cyanogen 6 to become stable then i'll switch over..It will be 710MHz for 32a and 614MHz for 32b....Vodafone magic (32b) is inferior to the normal magic (32a) in a lot of ways...32a can use Hero ROMs while most of the 32b ROMs are HTC Dream ROMs..

Added on July 24, 2010, 4:33 pmUsually the max OC is determined by the kernel of the ROM..and usually the ROM is model specific...so should be fine coz they have tested them before they release the ROM...especially those with final build version which are fairly stable..

OC increases the temperature and drains battery faster...but you can set the phone so that it only OC when required...

juz remove the battery and reboot, it will be back to the default clock, simple as that...

anyway, i am now @ 19MHz when idle... super batter saving sia... XD 3hrs of idle = 1% battery...

haha..can OC too much one ar? when i use SetCPU, i can't go beyond what's not in my kernel...so maximum is 576MHz..

yeah... the ROM i am using max can go 710MHz (actually all the custom ROMs for Hero now basically support till 710MHz)... but my phone can only run till 670+MHz, beyond that it will hang...

what is jack Daniel ?
