haha, what a pain ....all those test with FPS is good

Uninstall the driver using DriverSweeper in SafeMode, then normal boot, re-install the driver

...what year/model?? Even my Dv1000 can use Ubuntu without hiccups ..

BIOS is on MOBO ...not related to HDD in any way..and like lee said, flashing the BIOS wrongly will caused it to corrupt and when this is done, the laptop sure cannot be ON anymore, unless its not that severe, then maybe can flash it back using DOS
