The Low Out put (~14W x 2) selling for RM140-150.

Even the low out put can emit 10000K should be good enough already right?

I'm still shopping around.

Thinking of DIY from electric shop also but I don't think they sell side holder for the florescent and casing problem. Don't know what to use to create casing.

Looks like common java fern for some reason. got any picture of the 'roots'?

yes, i thought its java fern also at first.
bought 2 pokok but realize the leaves are different when i put it in my tank.

tomolo i take it out of my tank and take a more close up pic..
i search for it online for one whole night but cant find the name for it.

each stem of the leaves will have 3 leave attach together side by side, quite weird but unique.

this, latest pics there was last month. alot i actually already throw away. rescaped abit edi now

all the moss there people give me one. heheheheh

it actually naturally grow round for me. ofcoz u trim the edges abit. then it will grow out roundish.

anyone know price for 150W MH bulb.. i get offer for MH lighting around rm100++ but it use 14K MH bulb.. initially use for marine.

isit okay to use 14k lightbulbs on planted tank? chuppy should know this. i also wana know.

My marine tank's favourite spectrum.

Not suitable for planted tank as our plants will not benefit alot from this spectrum. Optimum for plants is

6000 K - 10 000 K. ADA tubes being specially made at 8000K.

So unless you want to see a lot of healthy algae growing in your planted tank, Don't use anything more than 10 000K .

Yup T5 there's low out out and high out put and very high out put (VHO).

Note that K stands for KELVIN RATINGS. or COLOUR TEMPERATURE of the tube.. not wattage or 'output'

paku, look for things like osram. those might work. (not yellow, 'white')
Also, ADA ones are the best ones around.. MH that is. RM 3xx. Bite the bullet!
