Do take note though they have changed the naming scheme. HD 5770 is now called HD 6870 and HD 5750 is called HD 6850.Same goes for other model..IINM 

that's suppose to be mini-HDMI.. not DP..

the naming is to make the line up much simpler..
i believe their using the name to show that it's better than the previous series..

You must be joking that your Metro2033 is not lagging with your single Radeon HD5770... or maybe your eyes got problem or you don't know how to define smooth/or never see something smoother or maybe your FPS demand is low???
Because I tried on GeForce GTX470 and Radeon HD5870. Both also can't get 100% good FPS at all scenes(almost max settings).
Usually, all are OK until those strange lighting scenes. FPS got reduced like crazy by then.

There's "very high" in the selection. 
High and Medium in Metro 2033 is pretty low demand compared to "very high".
Also, reviews already show that Radeon HD5770 very far from being able to max out Metro 2033, especially in DirectX 11 mode. Even DirectX 10 and 9, it's also hard already.
If you still insist to say your Radeon HD5770 can play the Metro2033 on almost all max out settings with decent FPS, I would have nothing to say but I would advise you to go medical check up for your eyes.

I tried this game on Core i7 + Radeon HD5870, it's not smooth when everything is set to almost maximal or maximal in some strange lighting scenes.
Also, I tested GeForce GTX470 as well.

Reviews from the internet also shown this games are freaking heavy and CANNOT and IMPOSSIBLE to being max out by a single Radeon HD5770.

Also, angrysnail didn't set everything to VERY HIGH as I mentioned but he didn't realise    . He only set High and Medium on 1920x1080. That's why he claim he got decent FPS.
angrysnail, you can try set to VERY HIGH on everything, then, run FRAPS.
ScreenShoot the FPS you got from FRAPS. If you get 30FPS ++ all the way in the games, then, we'll trust you.



Note this, 1650x1050 resolution MAX OUT setting GPU benchmarking for Metro 2033 on DX11 and DX10.
Radeon HD5870 and HD5850 are just getting "playable" framerates and nearly unplayable already. When, 1920x1080? OMG? Reduced even more. 
Radeon HD5770? They don't even want to take it to the test. Last time, I did saw a review for Radeon HD5770 on Metro 2033. If not mistaken, it shown that this GPU only can run about 10-20FPS when everything max out.

haih its just a game pun nak bergaduh ke bro.

I bet 1920x1080 with 2 CF 5870 is hard to reach and sustain 50FPS at all level game line for Metro2033.

was just thinkin to upgrade my 8600GT to 5770, lucky bumped into this thread,  gonna upgrade to 6850 now....hehe
