for party default chat, use /chatmode party or /chatmode linkshell also work

unless you have a fren in US who can do billing for you, then you're mostly safe to pick up the NA version,

server are global~ so no region involve, region are only for billing.

as for me, i pick NA version and had my fren do billing for me.

edit: plz try the open beta first before you decide whether to play..

the ui lag is really unbearable, try to unload my stuff to retainer.. just simply crazy not fun w..

browsing people bazaar with the ui lag is even more not fun w everytiem you try to synth something or fish/botanic/mining, there is small freeze at the screen.. that is still wasn't ui lag? w

few of my frens gonna cancel pre-order if they don't fix the ui lag before the end of beta.. i feel for them n same w..

i have to ask a fren... if he gonna cancel, i'm gonna cancel too w.. so far the game just epic fail w..

the levequest, i dunno, the more i play the more i feel like playing wow.. heck even wow levequest have more and can do more than here.

despite all the bad mechanic and gameplay, the only good thing in this game is the graphic if compare with ffxi. couldn't bother with the mouse lag oledi since i switch to controller w but ya.. SE seriously need to fix the god damn ui.... and improve the party grouping search function. w

Yep, I agree with everything you said. After playing for 20 minutes, I went out and bought a 360 controller for the game. The controller makes the game much more playable but it shouldn't have to be that way. The very slow UI is still extremely annoying.

i tried to sell some stuff to npc.. www the feeling just really, my fren who is in closed beta not even playing in open beta.. now i know why.. w

i hate to say this, but back in the days, when SE release FFXI JP Beta version i was in, it was not as bad as this one. it was way better..

it is not like SE were new to MMO ww... they ought to sack the guy who responsible for the UI www...

i'm not exaggerating, but just my humble opinion w.

edit: i really hope they can spend another year and polish the game, i really don't mind to wait... every mechanic and system w just pure epic.. especially the fishing mechanic, tedious w.

the levequest, when you done.. i don't feel any sense of accomplishment.

go there kill this xxx, n collect this xxx w.. no story driven quest.. no chain quest .. minus the nation quest.. and that's it.

im not some ffxiv hater, in fact i'm trying to force myself to like it being an avid fans of ff series. to the extend, pre-ordered 2 copies of the game at amazon, had even advance my fren 1 year monthly fees.

all i want is the game to succeed, nothing more. not need fancy mechanic or disturbing system in the game. release date is closing, and if this is what they going to deliver...it will truly hurt their reputation.. especially the team behind FFXIV.
