If the thieve or car hijacker really target to get your car...
You can't hide from it.... They will have many dirrerent ways..... to break in... or tow off... All we can do is just to add more security thing to the vehicle to prevent the thieve from wasting time to get your car.... Car hijacker will think that it's wasting time to cut-off or deactivate all security thing to get your car, it's easier to get another car which has less security things... |

YUp.. One of my friend from sarawak....
He's driving "Ninja King" the Lexus LX430 with ARB bull bar in the front... when he's drunken... he drove at the night... he is blur and can't see.... then accident happened..... When he woke up, his car is collided with the "Road making car" the big steel wheel one..... His ARB Bar is only fully knocked into.... his life is safe and his car also in very good condition.... After the incident, he always like to install ARB bar into all his 4x4 vehicle.... but expensive... he said it's worth..... coz very safe... |

how you know it's Full tank of 76 litre goes for 1400km???
advertisement??? The advertisement always says this and that car is low FC.... but we will never get this one... Unless you really try it by your self.... then, it's really a very great Fuel Saver.... QUOTE(dchk @ Dec 1 2005, 11:13 PM) Did anyone see the new Isuzu D-Max 4x2. Cost around RM67K. Is is a 2500cc displacement. Full tank of 76 litre goes for 1400km. That is super fuel consumption. Minus stuff like ABS, EDB, do you think it is ok to get as a budget vehicle. Can't afford a 4x4 pickup, but at least it is better and cheaper than a normal car. Just wanna know, anyone you guys who bought your 4x4, have you gone off road before. Or did any of you engage full 4x4 all the time or mostly drive 4x2. I do know the 4x2 by Isuzu D-Max has its back suspension softer, comparable to a car. So I am wondering will a 4x2 pickup do ok most of the time |

QUOTE(dchk @ Dec 2 2005, 03:28 PM) I just don't get it. Why do some forumer has to be so loud mouth. At least do some research before contributing to the thread. I'm not saying that your statement is not true... you are right....Please read this article. If you need assistance reading, let me know, and I will cut, paste and highlight those area for you. http://www.motortrader.com.my/NUS/articles..._336/page_m.asp Hope anyone can answer my question and really contribute. but, sometimes, we can't get what it's written by others..... Coz, they can use travel this far just because they travelled under certain guidelines that may have a optimum FC. They must have specific tyre-air pressure, specific rev limit for the driver, specific km/h..... and lots more factor that may affect the FC.... They might be maintaining the speed of 90km/h all round in the highway to maintain best FC. If you wanna get good FC... then, follow thier way..... Like Proton Gen.2 written in a magazine that with current fuel prices.... Gen.2 Manual can go from KL - IPOH for just RM 12 petrol...... it's unbelieable..... That's why they use certain guideline to get a best FC.... |

QUOTE(LJS @ Jan 9 2006, 01:02 AM) my grandpa got one fortuner 2.7V,very makan minyak RM0.25 per KM(city driving) Very makan minyak because of it's size and it's height.......i drive it,as u know i always like to spin the tyre but fortuner cannot, bcos it is full-time 4wd,my hilux can la,spin kaw kaw.Fortuner is not as smooth as Harrier,it is bumpy but stable than hilux la. i just know that UMW should not sell fortuner 2.5D in the type of E and manual, mean no chrome handle and etc.It seem low-grade than Hilux bcos hilux is G spec.Just like Vios, E and G I think the 2.5D engine not power enough to run on SUV weight or cannot support full-time 4wd and the price is alots diffrent between 2.5d fortuner and Hilux almost double, and even worst is,interior of hilux is luxury than 2.5d fortuner Most newer car eqquipted with traction control.... which limits all wheel not to spin and lose power to the spinning wheel..... all power will transfered to any wheel to maximise power.... If Fortuner comes with Diesel engine... for sure it will increase sales.... |
