what your consumption like? mine for mixed-urban driving can go up to 820 km on a full tank (almost 15 sen/km). highway driving if i rempit to 130 km/h then it's lower at 750 km (16 sen/km). compared to my old car it's close to 20 sen/km).

i refuel the d-max bi-weekly, at one point i was pushing it too far until the tank is empty, got stranded in the sprint highway during peak hours. laugh.gif

i heard about this vesawit fuel additive for diesel engine? it seems that it can slightly boost the horse power, not by much and the engine can run less noisier. has anyone try it? is the claim any good?

My fc almost same like urs...gonna do the 1st service soon use for 1month oledi 5000km hehehe doh.gif . So far im still satisfied with the fc and performance of this car. icon_rolleyes.gif

A pickup club! Coolz!

D-max FC

Really can reach that kind of FC in such a powerful truck like D-max 3.0? 20++ km/l?!

Woooooo, roadtax 2.5k, really geng, only encourage to buy Dmax in Sarawak, heard roadtax cheaper there.

I love Hilux, can Hilux reach those number kah?

Really hopefully gahmen will do something to the diesel roadtax once they start selling the palm diesel.

(edit added: eyy.... dun hv pickup but love diesel pickups can join or not?)

my contractor client had her new hilux stolen again after 2 weeks....her first one was stolen 8 mths ago and after that, added a lot of security systems on the second one...but the car-thefts brought the ultimate tow truck and she can see the tire marks leading away from outside her house..

those in east malaysia should get D-MAX.....as it is powerful and roadtax is cheaper.....

d-max engine is a bit noisier than hilux, but i think that is the characteristic for isuzu engines.....anyway, isuzu engines is efficient too

Toyota should release 3.0 D4D Hilux at least as Hilux has a strong followings right here

went to KLIMS today, got these prices for custom 4x4 accessories:
1) custom front grille (black/chrome combo) - rm 930
2) rear tail light cover (black) - rm 280
3) front light cover (black) - rm 280
4) top cover (black) - rm 2.8k

are these items reasonably priced because although they're definitely cool looking, i've a feeling that the pricing is over the hill especially the top cover. the shop is port klang 4x4 accessories.

what about the light covers? they are just a piece of molded plastic. don't know how they got up to rm 280 apiece. or the top cover. the design of the hinges is definitely clever, but at rm 2.8k, wow i wonder is it worth it.

man i'm damn interested but those prices knocked me out.
