sanji, regarding not buying any rings at all, well i find it hard to farm and stay in a lane for long if i'm forced to be against a heavy nuker. most of the time i stay behind creep lines and run here and there and when i see a creep about to die i run in front, land the final blow and fall back. most of the time i would've kena nuked note that this is what i go through when using the centaur.

but then again i've fought against a sven myself when using a crystal maiden and actually i had more problems nuking him then he did whenever i frosted him he'll throw a hammer at me. so i switched to nova alone but that didn't hurt him much either cause he sure had alot of hp and he throws a hammer at me whenever he feels like it which was really painful considering i don't have much hp so as a result i had to run back home giving him the chance to farm freely...

don't really use juggy but the last time i got him in an ar i went blade/stats and then getting crit later and only getting ward last. worked for me that time


so you're saying i'm supposed to just stand there in xp range and do nothing? i don't know. doesn't seem like a good idea to me. i prefer running in to land the final blow on a creep and backing off quickly. with a ring of regen the hp lost from nuke can be quickly gained back and i just repeat the process.

okiiee, thanks for clarifying i'll go play around to see if i need that ring to suit my playing style


another version? proves how many people dislike drastic changes. the people in the cc's i play in are still playing with 5.84c

omg, sven rocks so hard! just won a 4v4 where my team was losing badly thanks to two early leavers. then me and phantom assassin started pwning everyone like mad, reached lvl25 and just cleared their base

edit: was doing 1k++ crits with my burize. just a little lower then the phantom's killing that sand king was like slicing a hot knife through butter

won 3 games today playing sven but i find that i have some problems defending my tower or lane. in all 3 games my lane had 2 towers down and the last tower severely damaged towards the game

but this was quickly remedied when i turned on god's strength and MoM and demolished all 3 towers and a barrack of that particular lane while my enemies were busy trying to attack my base and my teammates did a good job of defending the base without causing too much damage to the tower

btw played with the biggest sore loser of all. it was a 3v3 (i was using sven ) and one of my allies got disconnected very early in the game. so it turned into 2v3. we were badly pushed but then we pulled the same thing again where i pushed and my sand king ally defended won the game and guess what they messaged us? "rematch. fong sui only this game"

so we rematched and we kicked their butts again in a 4v4 game... and another game my ally was really arrogant ler. just cause we knock all 3 towers down he typed to everyone "this game we sure win adi. wanna remake?" nobody answered him of coz. luckilly that game win only but i really wouldn't have mind losing

anyway sorry ah making this my rant thread adi.

no i do not see destorying of towers as as "sure win" myself but that's what my n00bish allies thought. i was rather pissed cause the way they played just totally showed how 101% noobish they were and yet they talk like they're some pro. i was really tempted to turn on my bkb and give them some serious spanking

i have played many games where we lost all of the outer towers and yet still manage to win the game in the end. was using techies and concentrated all out on defending and then using the cash to pump my allies

not sure bout purge but i know finger goes through bkb cause finger is taken as physical damage


bkb must be activated first before god's strength or MoM as avatar will cancel both effects if activated later. happened to me once

wasn't really a "techy" day for me. used techies in two games and lost both games

used sven in 4 games and won all of them though i chopped up a full hp rhasta with 2 chops!

item build is pretty much the same for most melee heroes ler. starting get what item ah? i suppose stock up on gauntlets would be good since u need it for the bashers too.

i had fun today pwning ppl with clinkz using a desolator and bkb

the sight of an oversized clinkz shooting weird beams of light sent everyone running

once u complete the bkb it's even more hopeless for your enemies

they tried buying a gem but my teammates gangbanged the fella kao kao. i once saw a clinkz with bkb and desolator solo down the tree of life with the two towers still there

yea my allies thought it was impossible too so they told me ignore the clinkz terus push. next thing i know i got the "you-have-been-defeated" message

sanji just will not accept the fact that sven can be defeated

actually if u read this long-ass guide over the dota forums, there's this post full of calculations and screenshots that proves that buying a reaver and a crystallys for sven fully utilizes god's strength better then going straight for a burize or a heart.

what do you mean cheap? it's a cheap tactic or the items are cheap in price?

dude, there is absolutely nothing wrong with sk taking boots of travel. boots of travel only does not work when the sk learns dust trail. if you don't learn dust trail, the boots will work perfectly fine and as you can see from the screenshot, there's no "dust trail" icon on the status.
