most of the time i'll be the one keeping an eye on the mini map and alerting my friends when an enemy colour goes missing.

i'm too lazy to type so most of the time i either shout (we play in cc) or i just do that signal thingy on the map (which unfortunately nobody pays attention to most of the time )

agreed. i'm sick of joining 5.84c maps only to have the people whining when someone picks medusa.

i told them the easy solution would be to switch to 6.09b and they called me a noob sigh, kids these days...

i still play 5.84c if there isn't a 6.09b game available but obviously my first choice would be 6.09b

not sure where to post this among all the dota threads taht exist here but this is by far my stupidest experience playing dota at a cc here in ipoh.

so was playing a 5v5 ap where i was using vengeful and my friend same lane with me using techies. he planted some land mines by the side of the river and then bout 15 minutes into the game one of the enemy heroes stepped onto it and died.

then the dude typed "oi play bug ah? i neva c u plant any mines there, how can suddenly got mines?"

i have no idea what crap that dude was looking at but i clearly saw my ally went to the side of the river to plant the mines. we tried to explain that and the dude just went "cb play bug la" and continued cussing before he left the game.

wtf is wrong with people around my area?! i haven't played dota since january since want to concentrate on studies so i saja went to visit the cc i frequent a few days back just to look around la. and to my surprise almost everyone playing there was playing games with the 5.84c map

WTF?! 8 months already still cannot move on?!

well i don't really have anything against v5 la

but the thing i hate most last time when i play v5 are the people abusing the bugs or someone whining how imba some heroes are but yet they want to play v5

so when i suggest switching to v6 they'll be like v6 more imba and got bugs so v5 better. WTF?!

now that my stpm is over i can officially return to dota-ing rituals!!

though the last time i've played it was back in those days of 5.84c. it's kind of a culture shock for me trying out the latest version on single player just now any tips on how i can adapt to the new environments?
