Lithium ion battery don't have memory effect, don't worry just charge. In fact you're not supposed to let it drain completely to avoid damaging it. (Although after getting grip one of my batt usually go to 0% ._.)

Lithium ion don't need to. I think those are the NiCd batteries I think.

thnkas for the reply regarding the lens flare. after revisiting the place where i shot the photos with the flares and set up my camera like when i was shooting there i found the culprit to be a light bulb that was hidden in my view finder. so thanks all for the answers. i am now shooting without filters.

another question, i was offered an assignment, the pay is low but there is a catch to it. i have to choose a lens under rm500 (which is paid by the client) for the assignment and after the assignment i can keep the lens if they like the pictures if not i cant keep the lens but still get paid.

so i am thinking of the 70-300mm AF G lens since i will be shooting from from a spectator point of view of a show which is stage on an open air stage that is about 5 meters high.

anyone here think the lens is a good lens for the job or is there any other lens in that price bracket that can do the job better.

u only can get 2nd 70300 IMO. with tamron or nikkor 70300, its quite hard to handle and u need extra high shutter speed to avoid shakky. it is a tough lens unless for outdoor with great lighting smile.gif good luck then

Argh I hate this feeling. Wanna buy 50mm f1.4 but if I get 50mm f1.8, I could buy filters, demb flip-it, and another battery. Dilemma unsure.gif
