currently im also lookin to do some nice tiled featured wall for my kitchen. space bout 5ft(l)x12ft(h). wanted to jus paint it, but bcoz of some MPSJ rule or somthing, apparently you mus tile your kitchen up or something like that. sigh...

mine have to tile all the way up, so no choice.

Added on August 30, 2010, 12:33 pmHi guys, just to share with you that I got all my house downlights from this place.

Houses Lighting Enterprise
No 33 & 35, Jln BFU 6,
Bandar Puchong Utama,
47100 Puchong

Think their price is quite reasonable.
Only set back is that they are PACKED (we went there for two weekends). The salesperson barely have time to entertain you before jumpin to the next customer & the next customer. You have to be very "aggresive" in getting their attention.

In the end, we picked the round one, instead of the square ones for the reason that the square ones are not practical, burns out faster (bcoz of the glass cover), etc, etc. Of coz, alot of ppl feel that the square one is more modern & nicer (incl myself) but i cud live with the round ones too...

does anybody know approx. how much do I need to spend to light up a condo which is about just below 900sqft? it's a new unit, so it's pitch black at night. LOL

depends on what type of lights. downlights? designer lights? obviously downlight is a cheaper choice, bt of coz ur unit has to be w plaster ceiling

what if just normal lightings, doesn't have to install plaster ceiling & downlightings. Currently the unit is not completed yet, I just have the no. of lighting output. 12 outputs.

if u wanna boy downlights, go to the 'bulk items' shop such as Houses Lighting Enterprise(which I did) or Top Ten, etc - got my downlights there

but if you're lookin for nicer pendant lights, etc - can consider avalon. however, their price are quite reasonable (u must b a veteran bargainer urself) & if you're buyin alot, perhaps you can nego & they can lower their downlights price to match HLE or TT as well.

I bought a couple of pendant light from Avalon Puchong - which is HQ, hence have the most choice.

If you guys are goin there, i can recommend u this SA (can 'push' around for disc wan. PM me if you seriously want to knw. not nice puttin his/her name here out in public jus like tat smile.gif
