oh ok, cause all my previous BD from UK was sealed so kind of surprise when I see this one not sealed haha. I find that Amazon UK always use boxes that just nicely fit all your BD while Amazon US usually use oversize boxes that can probably fit double the BD your order haha.

Getting Started

|
they do that to check if the contents in the box are approved by KDN or not.... remember we also have a censorship board in malaysia....
It's because i also experienced the same thing when I received Fast and the furious 4 movie set... No shrink wrap....
also do u have the documentation of what their comments on the movie are....
one of the things that caught my attention is if the contents are worth more than RM500.00 than there will impose custom duty... but i see others in this forum buy in bulk....
I wonder how u guys get around that....

Uhh documentation? from KDN? nope, they open check and release it under declaring the value i guess haha

hmm just sent an email to Amazon UK about the unsealed BD, well I don't really mind it being unsealed was just curious about it. Their customer service replied that they will re-send the item to me so I'll have to send back the item I received back to them. Wondering if I should do this or just tell them it's ok haha, coz have to wait for the BD to arrive again lol

QUOTE(trinityz @ Sep 30 2010, 02:23 PM) hi guys, Can a normal HD READY lcd tv play blu-ray disc? or do i need a FULL HD lcd? As of current technology, an LCD TV cannot playback blu-ray disc. You would need a blu-ray player for that. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Seriously though .... a typical blu-ray movie's resolution is 1080p. By getting a HD-Ready lcd tv, you will be watching in 720p/1080i, which is fine for most users. However, you will not get the full impact of a 1080p resolution that the FULL HD lcd tv would offer.

I've also received around 5 packages + 1 box today from US, all were opened for KDN inspection (damn KDN sealed it again). None of the items were tampered. I guess the issue is from Amz UK itself. The last order i've done tru Amz UK, out of 10 items 1 Disc were sent without shrink wrap. Well, it happens.. This post has been edited by sKyWiR3pT3lTd: Sep 30 2010, 03:44 PM
