hmm looks like everyone's excited about Firefly...
wonder what the reaction will be like when star wars comes out on blu next fall... i can't wait... definitely a first day buy... this is the very reason why i adopted blu ray in the first place... seeing star wars in all it's glory..... yahoooo!!!!!! |

i have the ultimate matrix collection i bought earlier this year (price at around usd 50).... boy it's worth every single cent i'd paid for it....
so if any of you still thinking about getting ultimate matrix collection... i would seriously recommend you getting one but wait till the price go down to around usd 50... also ask speedy if they bring in ultimate matrix.... they said they bring it in but very limited and price around rm 600... |

I'm also waiting for them to release alien quadrilogy in separate movies... i only fancy alien and aliens (ridley scott and james cameron... 2 of the most respected filmakers in the industry).... plus the boxset is very very very overpriced.....

but i feel it's not worth it... i really didn't enjoy alien 3 and alien resurrection... so it's pointless to get the boxset... plus i want to see what's the big fuss about james cameron de-noising and colour correcting aliens that got ppl in blu-ray.com all riled up....

has anyone thought of getting blu rays for a cheaper on amazon... i believe they have an option to look on other seller... i got my The International BD from the 3rd party seller for usd 10.42 whereas at that time amazon was selling for $22.49...

the fulfillment is done by amazon... so the standard shipping charge imposed by amazon will be the shipping charge.... no extra charge... i cand recommend one seller.... pieceofmindmedia.... their prices are significantly lower than amazon's but they carry very limited number of titles

i rather stick to standard shipping... don't want to spend too much on shipping... postal in my area is good and postmen very friendly.... very helpful and manage to get my amazon US BDs before the expected date... it's only amazon UK BDs that always gives me headache....

they do that to check if the contents in the box are approved by KDN or not.... remember we also have a censorship board in malaysia....
It's because i also experienced the same thing when I received Fast and the furious 4 movie set... No shrink wrap.... also do u have the documentation of what their comments on the movie are.... one of the things that caught my attention is if the contents are worth more than RM500.00 than there will impose custom duty... but i see others in this forum buy in bulk.... I wonder how u guys get around that.... |
