I don't read the books (not yet anyways) but Ros is supposed to represent several characters in several events in the book IINM. The producers wanted to cut down in number the ever-increasing quantity of characters I suppose.

On another note: I am now only starting to appreciate and respect Littlefinger's character. My, my he is truly a master manipulator.

Littlefinger and Varys are actually more powerful than whoever who sits on the Iron Throne. Just that they have no house name or born into royalty

Have you completed up to the 5th book in the series? If so:

1) Does it get better from book to book?
2) Should I purchase and read the novel up to the current TV season adaptation?

1) Each book is good by itself. I can't differentiate which book is better

2) IMO you should read all the books and also watch the series. The book has a lot more detailed stuffs and the original story

also try not to compare with the books with TV as tv series has charater limitations as well as time lenght per episode

The book itself is worth a good read, as well as the TV series.

people say stuff and complain about anything/everything, books 4 and 5 are equally as good as books 1-3.. if they look at both books as 2 parts of 1 book.

Guess I'll just read all of them then.

Anyone noticed that the upcoming episode title is named after the song sang by Bolton's men after capturing Jaime and also played during Ep.3's closing credits.

About Little Finger & the Spider, one is the master of manipulator, and another one is master of information
You'll get more shocking revelation from Little Finger in the future, which I think should be around the end of the next season, the events at the Vale of Arryn, and now that's the major shocker wink.gif

4 more episodes to go..... cry.gif

book 4 and 5 actually just a single book..

but grr martin split it according to the geographical map of the world..book 4 too many new character you need to catch up..while book 5..most of the characters we already know..add a few more maybe..

there are websites that give the sequences if you want to read both 4 and 5 together..

i believe book 4 and 5 should merge and split into 3 season of tv series..

Have you read both books? Do you recommend reading them simultaneously or one at a time?

yeah... that's the most likely outcome, since Edric also wasn't mentioned much in the book, make sense to use Gendry as his role, since both background are quite similar

Erm... how do you read two book simultaneously? hmm.gif
basically Book4 doesn't cover the story of Daeny and Jon Snow, and some other characters which are covered in book5
just read them one at a time then you'll be fine wink.gif
