Anw, the plots are twisted a lil bit, I think they might come up with new things on Blackwater Bay and The Red Wedding.

I can't wait for other Houses to appear!

anyway... no surprise or shock at the ending scene, haven't read the book until that part, but still spoilt by reading the wikis long time ago

anyway... not much of memorable scenes in this episode, in fact... a lot of idle conversations...
maybe just to prepare for the ending climax

Also I'm in the first few chapters of Book2, seems like they've change quiet a few details in the TV series unlike Season1, which is pretty faithful to the book
are the producer & GRRM going towards a different direction for the TV series?
an original story like The Walking Dead perhaps?

from what i understand, they dont want it to be 100% like the book. they've written in additional characters, while writing out others. this seeks to streamline the story without removing key plots. of course, some details have changed, which i believe adds more depth without compromising the integrity of the story.

i personally like the northern whore character (cant remember her name though). she wasnt in the books at all, but somehow u can see her progress from the very first episode in winterfell, till she ended up in joffrey's bed in king's landing.

Are you guys watching the one on Astro? I watched the unedited one then watched the one on Astro and... they left the good bits out haha.

Very true, the author of the book had "extensive" meetings with the tv show producers about what to change and what not, so in the end the viewers will get a very close but slightly different take than the story in the books. All the same i think its a good thing because even those of us who've read the books will be surprised/shocked at certain new scenes in the show, e.g the stealing of the dragons.. i was like WTF?! Too bad only 3 more episodes to go

if they follow the plot of book 3 faithfully in S3, they gonna upset a lot TV GoT fans, especially the Red Wedding part
which I think they'll tone it down a bit

I don't think they're gonna tone it down, the killing of ned stark in season one was so shocking that it got me to read the books.. besides they can be smart and follow the red wedding scene immediately with the "wine wedding scene"
