GoT must watch in 720p, hence the long wait

Earliest watch will be Tues night
still haven't touch my hardcover ADwD

book 1 also haven't finish

too many things to do with too little time

I usually watch them in 720p version as well.
At least, you'll wait less longer for the next book.

anyone else wouldn't touch the books 1st until after the whole series is done (or up until where George Martin wrote)? most of the time, film versions couldn't include all the content of books, there bound to be some expectations ...

So, I rather watch the motion medium 1st, fit the producers/directors vision into the readings, rather than be disappointed a bit if it doesn't go the way we imagined.
Well, so far, the series has been small-scaled!
Otherwise, HBO will have to invest at least $100 mil per episode.
GRRM intended to have the books to be very expensive and difficult to be adapted into motion picture, according to some of his interviews.
But still it meets my expectation so far.

It'd be really funny if HBO pulled the ultimate troll - 'April fools! No GoT this week'
No way, 04.01.2012 is in all of their promos!
