GoT must watch in 720p, hence the long wait tongue.gif
Earliest watch will be Tues night wink.gif
still haven't touch my hardcover ADwD doh.gif
book 1 also haven't finish doh.gif
too many things to do with too little time doh.gif
ic ic, no wonder ... I can't wait like u could ... rclxm9.gif I'll just watch SD version 1st, then next time only re-watch in HD.

anyone else wouldn't touch the books 1st until after the whole series is done (or up until where George Martin wrote)? most of the time, film versions couldn't include all the content of books, there bound to be some expectations ... unsure.gif So, I rather watch the motion medium 1st, fit the producers/directors vision into the readings, rather than be disappointed a bit if it doesn't go the way we imagined.

It'd be really funny if HBO pulled the ultimate troll - 'April fools! No GoT this week'

I usually watch them in 720p version as well.
At least, you'll wait less longer for the next book.

Well, so far, the series has been small-scaled!
Otherwise, HBO will have to invest at least $100 mil per episode.
GRRM intended to have the books to be very expensive and difficult to be adapted into motion picture, according to some of his interviews.
But still it meets my expectation so far.

I rather have the battle of blackwater episode to be 2 hours, honestly.

Game of Fools: Season 2 of hit show to be aired next week.

user posted image

Game of Thrones is April Fools' joke. The second season gets underway the night next week, and it's evident right from the opening scene APRIL FOOLS ! - a callous display of cruelty from the boy king, King Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson), channelling his inner Columbine - that, if anything, the stakes have been raised on what now shows signs of becoming the most ambitious, eye-filling fantasy epic in television history.

It will be more convincing if it mentioned Bran's death in the end of the Season 2.

HBO won't dare to do that ... the most also, they'll show a trolling episode; where at the start, flash back scene to Ned Stark's beheading, when the camera pan to the severed head, we see the troll face..

Then Ned Stark put himself back together, do a little troll dance user posted image, then proceed to slaughter all his opponents, bellowing "Kill them all!!!" while doing so. After that, he gathered his household and went back to the North and the good guys live happily ever after. The End.
So, no Season 2, all the trailers we saw are just that ... trailers. That'll be the ultimate April Fool joke ... after waiting for old god knows how many months, for sure we'll all rage.

Overall, I enjoy the whole episode and it is stronger than the very first episode in many ways.
The score, the breath-taking scenery and the CGI are just top-notch, no TV show has been so good in these departments before.
It feels like a Hollywood movie.
The only thing that feel a bit lacking is the scene with the new characters.
If they just follow the book to open Season 2 with that scene, the flow will feel so much better and stronger.
And Peter Dinklage is the new lead, can't wait to see his name on the Best Actor list.
The ending is just epic that it makes Gendry seems like a very important character.
Next week cannot come sooner.

I'm pretty sure there will be no sex scene in one of the upcoming episodes.
Anyway, this is an 'adult only' show for an 'adult only' book series.
I guess you'll just have to find an alternative for the family viewing. biggrin.gif
