Thought I'd post this here. I attended Jakarta Comicon and managed to meet Hodor, and attended his panel. Here's a summary:
HODOR panel at ICC - His character was killed during the actor's birthday, he only knows about HOLD THE DOOR 6 months prior to the shoot. - When asked about a popular theory about him returning as a wight, he joked that's not a theory that's a spoiler. 😉 - He deny that he knows the ending of the series. - Best experience from shooting GoT, was the scenes he gets to run amok and snap someone into two. - His wife was a fan of the book and convinced him to take on the role. - He literally piggybacked Brann in the series (no mechanical tools or fx) , and it gets more difficult as he aged bigger. - If he can be any GoT character, he would love to be Arya. - If he can kill anyone, he would kill Littlefinger (even though he's already dead) - He was asked, if he can sum what he thinks the ending will be in one word, his answer is DEATH. - The outfit he worn a Hodor wasn't washed the entire 6 years of shooting, and only 2 outfits was issued for both him and his body double.

The hype is real!
 It will be a 1 1/2 years gap between the last episode 'The Dragon and the Wolf' to the start of Season 8. I wonder if Sean Bean will make a 'cameo' though such appearances are really rare on GoT. How does it all end??!!  |

It would be difficult if on an episode basis, but why not the final episode go all out, have a GoT event and then screen in cinemas?  The final episode of GoT is all set to be the biggest finale of any TV show in years and the runtime is movie length (80 min+). |
