good thing to know coverage there is ok.. coz i wanna give my gf one of my sub-line's haha.. just that i do go down to sban once in a while so just taking that into account

wanna know how do u guys use it... is it like continously connected to the internet or u connect when u want to check something? which is the norm... coz my fren was telling me if u keep connect n disconnect ur data used it higher is this true?

also does digi charge u extra if u pass the limit for data?

No, DiGi doesn't charge for exceeding the quota, Maxis does.

i dont agree that the calls cant get in when u are on EDGE.
EDGE and 3G does not show any impact on me during calls...
if there is line, there is line. 3G or EDGE its just the same for calls

It happens to couple of my friends too.
Anyway, DIGI plan is cheaper, so its ok to miss some calls, I guess..

so u guys all connected to the net the whole day then? or just connect when u need to..? wit the idigi plans ur still entitles to the 6 sublines as the digi 50 postpaid plan kan?

When u are on EdGE, incoming calls will not get through unless u stop data usage. 3G is ok for both income calls and data.

i'm using digi broadband currently and when i use it in my hometown (melaka), it shows EDGE.. does tat means if i use iphone wif digi.. it will have the of fail to receive calls?? what i'm trying to ask is melaka's digi line isnt good, is it?

the reason it shows EDGE is because your area is not under 3G coverage, nothing wrong with it.

This issue doesnt always happen..so, you cant say that with DIGI, our Iphone failed to receive calls..we still can receive incoming calls..just that sometimes you will received SMS stating you had miss call while your phone dun even ring..

I went and read up. Apparently it is an GPRS/EDGE limitation. I guess you just have to be mindful to stop surfing once in awhile if you're on EDGE.

since melaka doesn;t have 3G coverage.. it will definitely affect the iphone performance.. isn't it?
