No, DiGi doesn't charge for exceeding the quota, Maxis does.

the reason it shows EDGE is because your area is not under 3G coverage, nothing wrong with it.

this is because SMS from the same operator to the same operator only cost 1 cent per SMS, so giving you 200 SMS only cost them RM 2.00
