sometimes there are people whom are oblivious to the exsistence of a new model, if they find out later the new phonw price and plans are cheaper they'll screw digi and apple endlessly, case in question would be this thread where people are questioning the supposed revised contract plans by Digi.

need some help...updated my iphone 3gs to version 4.0.2 last night and now i can't connect to the internet through edge or 3g...does anyone know what is the problem?

if u update directly from previous Jailbreak-ed OS, u'll be having the data connection issue
try restore back to ORIGINAL 3.1.3 and update again

wanna ask if using latest iOS 4.0.2 can restore back to 3.1.3 via itunes..?

if i remember correctly, u can just go to itunes, press Ctrl and click Restore, then it will come out a windows for u to locate the firmware...

For 3gs new bootroom(MC model), you cannot downgrade unless you save your phone shsh 3.1.3 with cydia. The reason is apple no longer signing firmware lower than 4.0.2. To solve your network problems, try reset network setting. Hopefully it will work.

however, if your 3gs is old bootrom than you can downgrade to lower firmware.

Exactly, but your baseband cannot be downgraded. you'll hv old firmware with latest baseband. try google it to get a good "how to" guides.

DiGi says that after exceed the data limit then they will make the connection become slower

The preorder is out for any telco in malaysia yet....maybe there only register interest....

iPhone 4 coming to DiGi Soon Early September if I'm not mistaken.

any expectation price for iPhone 4 if sign up for the digi plan?

Was looking for 3GS 16gb fr digi but apparently all out of stock. Not so keen on 32. Was told by digi that u can book a 16 and they'll inform when it gets here but with impending release of the iphone4 i would be surprised if digi is still bringing in the 3GS.

Don't think DiGi will be restocking on 3GS. You could always check if it's available; they may have a couple of units; just not plenty to start advertising
