good! I got tired of waiting for Celcom to bring in iPhone4. When their CS asked me why I port out of Celcom after 5 years with them, and I port to Digi? which she claimed had worse coverage, I said "sebab korang tak layan iPhone"

not enough sense. I'm saying Digi primarily makes only a few ringgit from the iPhone. not enough to justify all the extra stuff they have to do to comply with Apple's rules.

usually, if you're blacklisted on the shared telco list, its pretty much impossible to sign a new contract. feel free to try. I already got yelled at by 2 people who wanted to try, even after I said probably cannot, they still queued up for 1 hour...

call and ask Digi to waive the cancellation la... since you are re-contracting?

the telco T&C states that you cannot do it. so... dun call the hotline, complain that its not working on your non-iPhone device n give them chance to catch u
on the other hand, since you're a paying customer... i doubt they will bother much.

Malaysian iPhone launch is 24 Sept 2010. Maxis decided to leak their rates. Digi prefers not to.

yeah, their marketing for iPhone kinda sucks... then again, Maxis iPhone marketing also done by Apple...

its a choice, throttled down, no need to pay more, or full speed n pay more.
I don't need more than 3GB just yet...

USA iPhone has always been sold with 2 year contract. don't want contract, pay full price. crazy? this is smartphones. get used to it. its only 2 years, by that time... will be time to buy another iPhone
if you really don't want a 2year contract, buy outright when its available later. right now, its for contract purchase only

thanks for the maths. there's another factor. Maxis will charge your for overage on data usage. Digi will not. so there's a safety net.
