@ryei
these not-so-smart people think Digi is a handphone shop and should just sell them the phone. |

and so you think Digi should sell you iPhone4 outright ? why should they? where's their benefit? you're obviously not gonna give them any business. you slowly wait for your dear certain telco to bring in iPhone4 la. |

good! I got tired of waiting for Celcom to bring in iPhone4. When their CS asked me why I port out of Celcom after 5 years with them, and I port to Digi? which she claimed had worse coverage, I said "sebab korang tak layan iPhone" |

wtf? LIFE is unfair! Apple is a business, just like Maxis n Digi & Celcom. its becoming obvious that Celcom is gonna wait until everyone else has pioneered, then only they will get in. do you really think Maxis & Digi care about your expectation? answer this question > How does Maxis n Digi make ANY profit by selling you a phone without a contract? going overseas to study? buy it there. get a friend / relative to buy it here n give it to you. find a way. don't complain on a thread which both Maxis n Digi are not bothered about good grief, talk about expectation... ingat ni pertubuhan amal ? @ryei u pun satu, USA iPhone is ONE USELESS carrier, US$80 per month, 2 year contract. so that's not cheaper, okay? @igor_is300 thank God for you. at least someone here is using his brain. enjoy your dream world, where businesses actually care about one solitary complainer, who can't answer a simple question. ANSWER THIS ONE > does Maxis n Digi make ANY profit by selling you a phone without a contract? freedom? you're free to buy any other phone on the market. Apple doesn't owe you anything. why don't you ask Astro to sell you the dish without the service? and please don't use LYN as a credible source. last time I checked, the forumers posting here don't work for Maxis / Digi. |

not enough sense. I'm saying Digi primarily makes only a few ringgit from the iPhone. not enough to justify all the extra stuff they have to do to comply with Apple's rules. yeah, lets move on. |

sure or not? got proof? @devil_corp@hotmail.com usually, if you're blacklisted on the shared telco list, its pretty much impossible to sign a new contract. feel free to try. I already got yelled at by 2 people who wanted to try, even after I said probably cannot, they still queued up for 1 hour... |

the telco T&C states that you cannot do it. so... dun call the hotline, complain that its not working on your non-iPhone device n give them chance to catch u on the other hand, since you're a paying customer... i doubt they will bother much. are you serious? you would buy from Digi simply cos they launched first? Malaysian iPhone launch is 24 Sept 2010. Maxis decided to leak their rates. Digi prefers not to. yeah, their marketing for iPhone kinda sucks... then again, Maxis iPhone marketing also done by Apple... |

USA iPhone has always been sold with 2 year contract. don't want contract, pay full price. crazy? this is smartphones. get used to it. its only 2 years, by that time... will be time to buy another iPhone if you really don't want a 2year contract, buy outright when its available later. right now, its for contract purchase only @echoesian thanks for the maths. there's another factor. Maxis will charge your for overage on data usage. Digi will not. so there's a safety net. This post has been edited by xaw5126: Sep 23 2010, 01:25 PM |
