apakah? regardless which model it is, i'm pretty sure it's runnin on psc chippies. same class as flare, just that it is binned @ lower clock...

great job there... i believe d ram can give more if they are managed by thuban class imc. 1920 @ 7-9-8 is awesome for a pair of mid range ram...

just curious, how high can they go on 7-8-7 & 7-7-7?

give ya imc a 'lil bit of juice, < 1.2v is considered tad low for that kinda ram freq imo...

again, how high can they fetch @ 7-7-7?

PSC chippies really flooded gskill ram eh? from eco to higher end series in pi/flare... sume PSC chip...

too bad hypers eol ledi... newer dom gt oso on PSC now...

try lowerin ram divider + higher htt. add abit of vhtt, vnb and vimc aka cpu-nb volt. could be divider limitation coz 1600 mite not be d best for older architecture... i mite be wrong thou...

ya eco should be of psc

flare that i tested behave like these:

1. 6-7-6 doable up to 1600 & below, needs very low volt (1.5v)
2. 7-8-7 doable up to 1920 & below, needs slightly higher (1.53v)
3. 7-9-7 doable up to 2000 or more (by sir louislkw), needs w 1.7v but i'm pretty sure volts can be lowered to 1.6v or below
my noob conclusion:

1. doesn't like high volt, attempt by sir louislkw should be able to run @ much lower volt
2. can do decent timing (6-7-6) @ 1600ish, but @ higher freq (~2000), tightest is either 7-8-7 or 7-9-7. (didn't have much time to test 7-7-7 but should be able to do such timing up to 17xx)

1. 6-7-6 doable @ 1500 only, volt needed @ ~1.6v
2. 7-7-7 doable up to 1700, volt needed @ ~1.6v

that would depend whether d stock bios support x6 or not, if it's a brand new board, most likely will provided d manufacturin date is quite recent.

close call between psc & bbse w/ d latter needin higher volts @ lower clock, not so sure @ higher clock thou as i have yet to see both psc & bbse clock @ > 2k on amd platform locally (lyn/vrz).

yup, but i wanna see > 2k. bbse seems to be able to do a 'lil bit tighter, highest i managed to squeeze outta a pair of bbse is 1700@7-7-7, i can't get d same setting worked on flare sticks, could be user problem thou... but no doubt psc is awesome for d low voltageness...

someone care to loan me a 8xx serie board, a thuban, & a pair of psc ram?

ps: how can i forget micron, but too bad they are voltage hunger if compared to elpida & psc...
