Btw, does anyone have any problems with their gliders eating their own poop..?

Mine does that a lot... In fact she's more than happy to grab a piece of shit and run off and chew on it than a yoghurt drop... Getting very annoyed at this cuz.. Well it's disgusting :/

Looks ok to me..
the poo very black could be due to parasite in their body
can send them for deworming

If the glider eat its own feces, which normally people called cophrophagy, it normally means your glider is in stress condition..

I've literally gone through every single page of V16, and don't recall ever seeing anything about it.

Yeah, I figured it's probably stress (research says some animals eat their own feces when stressed, some do it for nutrition, some are just weird like some dogs are), but wanted to make sure. Thing is she much prefers it over normal food. ugh... (HPW and fruits mainly. She doesn't ever touch the veggies)

I'll run by the doc's to see if she's alright anyway. Thanks.

Some animals especially herbivore will eat their own poops to gain back certain vitamin and minerals. However, for some animals such as glider, this is not a normal things to be happened.

Can try feed higher fibre fruits/vege so that helps in her digestion...

does the fur feel like chalky..like stick together & when u touch it,its not smooth..

that should be pee/poo stain, wash your wheel & change the sleeping bag often..then wipe them at that area
