Vignettes are supposed to have a purpose? o.O, i thought they were there only for decoration purposes....hahaa  sweat.gif
*
to me, vignettes are to create a kind of feel in a photo, like mysterious, classic or different kinds of feelings depending on the photo la haha. sometimes used to emphasis on the subject too but as a whole. this is my interpretation la.

*
tammy 17-50 only lol. i think better to take tammy gua, cause you got flexibility to zoom in and out.

Wat u think? lol.... sell kit lens get tamron or straight get 35mm? hmmm..... hmm.gif
*
if you get the 35mm straight then you're keeping your kit lens? if yes then i think better for 35mm. you wouldn't wanna sell off your kit lens then you won't have any zoom range from 18-55 d lol.

Ya, if get 35mm den no nit sell kit lens, 1st is lower budget n 2nd is 35mm still need kit lens to cover zoom range,
If get 17-55 higher budget n covers kit lens range ma, so can sell 18-55 off..... so really wondering, to go which road...

Previously chosen 55-200 from 35mm, n never regret, now thinking the practicality of 35mm vs 17-55mm
*
eh tammy is 17-50 ya don't forget. you keep saying 17-55 lol.. nikon's is 17-55 la but the price is 2.5x tammy lol. so if you take 17-50, you lose 5mm coverage laugh.gif

You can put it that way I guess. See the element size at the back will know already, if you compare the 50mm and 18-55 or 18-105 kit lens will notice the differences in the size.
Generally most lens is sharp at f/4, but there are lens that is dead sharp at f/1.4 (the 85mm!). So I would say f/4 is just a rough guide~
*
hmm i thought the magic number for most lenses is f/8? lol..

My 70-200 is best at f/4 LOL. f/8 quality loses out to f/4 for my lens. Well then again, I use f/2.8 most of the time, f/4 occasionally.. f/8? never used before tongue.gif.
*
lol shoot landscape with f/8 mah haha. a bit weird shooting landscape with f/4 tongue.gif

Landscape no choice, but if your landscape subjects all far away, then f/2.8 also will work lah! LOL. Unless you got items in front and back then too bad.
*
hahah yeah true true biggrin.gif i go experiment next time and see if all the subjects at the same range, when i get 10.5mm fisheye brows.gif
