Haha, my tripod even cheaper, i'm using tables and chairs or walls or what it is that can stabilize the dslr!

Ya, thought of getting the digieye tr38 also......cheap and should be stable from the looks of it  laugh.gif ....no money lah, saving up for my 55-200mm
*
TR-38 user here also, starting to get annoyed at the darn tripod.. lol. got a bit of strong wind then not stable enough d haha. but for general use like taking own photos and set timer/remote, it's ok.

hei sorry man.. i m not young anymore..i post my picture here to give some comment/ teach me what i can do to get a better picture. then i try to take again. is not like zelleonheart comments that make me no confident to take picture. if you say my picture too blur, too high iso, too noisy, etc etc.. then you just tell/teach me what i can do to get a better picture..YES i' m still new to it..still learning on how to use manual mode. YES i have a bit of attitude problem and i' m trying to learn how to be humble with everyone.
*
you're still young man, enjoy life while you're young! haha.. i'm half-young-half-old d lol.

good good, try to keep up a humble attitude biggrin.gif

and btw, honestly i think it's because you keep mentioning about buying buying gears till it's quite annoying that's why =/ once or twice is ok, but more than that then become very annoying d lol.

no no i don't mean it like that. i mean like too much of something is not good, you keep repeating the same thing to someone, like a parrot "hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello" every 5 seconds to someone, sure that someone will smack your head wan laugh.gif same thing here lor.

Oh yea guys, something to ask here =)
I'm new to bracketing mode, few days ago i tried using bracketing in A mode, it should come out with 3 pictures, with one underexposed, one normal exposed and one overexposed right? But I got 2 normal exposed, one over.

The -2EV looks just the same with 0 EV =X I usually use M mode but Manual can't bracket. is this normal?
*
i can bracket with M mode and always do so. just need to set the ISO, aperture and shutter speed, then when you take the bracket shots, it'll adjust shutter speed accordingly. maybe in A mode, bracketing cancels out the auto shutter setting? tongue.gif just guessing here.

for fashion show, can use 70-300mm or not ya?
*
can, but use the widest aperture, if 300mm @ f/5.6 and boost up ISO according to the lighting. shutter speed can range from 1/100 - 1/500

if too near to the stage, it won't let me press the shutter  doh.gif  but nvm.. next sat i' m going to bon odori at shah alam..try to use my 70-300mm.
i always use WB auto mode. now i wanna try to set myself for WB setting.
*
you can set the WB to auto, but shoot in RAW. then adjust the WB in lightroom, that's what i do.

if i'm not mistaken, your camera still under warranty should be free. but standard cleaning i dunno how much it costs. buy a cleaning kit and clean yourself lor, lenspen biggrin.gif

lenspen i already bought but that 1 for lens only lor..not for sensor@body

n lenspen only suitable cleaning external glass only.. not internal...
my lens got lil dust also but very2 tiny n not effect pic but i would want clean as possible and need service since nvr service it since bought.

i used blower many time to blow the dust at my sensor also cnnot remove the dust.

so, my only solution go service at service center since my warranty expriced next months.
but i didnt know izit free or not. so asking here 1st l before go service center
*
i remember reading someone who sent for cleaning before warranty expire and it's free, at the nikon service center at BTS la, not the damansara 1.

QUOTE(cwee89 @ Jul 9 2010, 02:24 PM)
i bought my nikon d3000 few months ago and now i wanted to upgrade my gadgets.

so firstly, im thinking to buy a flashgun and also 35mm(50mm cant fit for d3000 cause no built in motor for d3000)
but now, im not sure which one i should go for first. the flashgun or 35mm?

and for the flash, im considering the nissin Di622 or Sunpak PZ42X. can anyone give me some opinion about it? or is there any other choices.. budget not more than 600 for the flash

i try my fren sunpak pz42x the other day but on my device the flash was not working properly. my fren was using 1000d
and i don know why that problem happened, he said it should be no problem

i need some help from the experts. thanks much
*
firstly, you can't mix canon and nikon products, his eos 1000d is not compatible with your nikon d3000. i think it's best to get nissin di622 first. then only go for 35mm if you have the budget.

oh okay.. then what's the difference between that nissin and the sunpak le...
*
i'm not very sure about sunpak, but i think it's a manual flash. nissin has iTTL, means it'll adjust the flash power automatically with info TTL - Through The Lens.

Nikon body sensor cleaning =  RM20.00 for warranty, RM60.00 for non-warranty.
Nikkor lens cleaning = RM130.00 minimum for fungus cleaning.
*
oh.. wah thanks for the info biggrin.gif would be useful to put it in first page for info. so no more free cleaning eh? oh well.. RM20 still ok lah.

i've checked, the sunpak also has iTTL
*
oh ok, then i think probably best for you to read the reviews. but nissin's very famous and widely used, there must be a reason why everyone's going for nissin over sunpak.

QUOTE(megahertz @ Jul 9 2010, 03:23 PM)
