D3000 user wont rugi so much , because it is the lowest end model from nikon .

compared to d90 .
they already depreaciate more than 1k .

I'm a D5000 user and I'm actually looking for a cheap and good prime lens. However, due to the fact dat my DSLR does not have a built inAF motor, I would need 2 have a lens dat does. Thus, I'm down to 3 choices, 50mm, 35mm and da 24mm. 50mm 1.4 is available at da price of 1.9k. others I'm not sure, but depending on users, most of them favour da 35 and 24mm prime lens because of da wide angle. My point is dat what is da best justification between lens capture angle and its price. I might be forced to look at 2nd hand lens too if da price is too steep. Any pro advices?

Reasons of getting a prime lens.
1. To shoot in low light conditions without using ext flash. Coz i dun like to use flash, prefer natural lighting.
2. To provide better detail in my photos, sharper images.
3. To provide faster autofocus speed. My 18-55mm is like a snail. After I finish focusing, da subject also change position adi

Occasions I shoot.
1. Wedding dinners (low light conditions n plenty of subject movement frustrates me thus i need a quicker AF n wider aperture)
2. Travelling (normal stuff lo, landscape, buildings, ppl, casual shooting, like wat everyone shoots while travelling)
3. A little landscape, but not to da extend of using filters
4. I like to capture natural moments where i can freeze it n capture it. However, my 18-55 is just too slow on it.

but since u r on DX (as most of us does) & considering d crop factor, AF-S 35mm f/1.8G is ur best choice. (35 x 1.5 = 52.5)
