QUOTE(bigbangformula @ Jul 1 2010, 04:43 PM) Ah I see But btw, about equipment,is it better to wear short pants?I think tracksuit that cover the whole leg isn't good right because your leg won't be flexible, can't raise it high.. And what about shoes?I really can't wear those normal sports shoe?Kaki ayam also not nice, because on a wet field,I will slip like hell bare foot first, toughen up your feet and legs, do mild exercise, like pumping, leg stretch etc track suit can, just is that its down to everyone preference whether shorts or long one. train yourself like 1 ~ 4 months, that start training properly aka train professionally.

i give u good advice as i'm a good soccer player. =x
step 1: find a friend, at least 2 person and start kicking the ball to each other to and fro. start from very near to each other to far for long ball.
step 2: alternate with ur friend, one person kick the ball to score, another one being the keeper.
step 3: get more person, and play with 1 cone as a goal for each side. This will give u ball control skill.
step 4: get more person, and u can have 2 cone as a small goal on each side. this will help u with positioning.
step 5: try to enroll in a friendly neighbourhood club. u'll be trained good enough to play in a big football field. thats ur main goal.

First of all, do you even have stamina to run on field for 90 minutes??? If you dont have...start training your stamina before you play football...

No,I don't play on the whole football field, just a small part of the field..
But the problem is also that I got nowhere to practice..I got no friend to practice with and the people that usually plays are all pros..

here's how everyone has been doing it
play as goalkeeper first
then defender > midfielder > striker
if you noob shit u go behind. that's the general consensus

maybe u can play with kids 1st.. this is bcoz, i expect that u should be better than those all kids.. so if continuously play with kids, eventually u can pawned them. once u start pawned them, it will gave u confident. when u already have confident, u can try to start proper training with adults.

find a ball and juggle 1st. Remember that ur the master of the ball. YOU move the ball NOT the ball that moves you. Watch Youtube and try all sort of tricks on field. Also, kick the ball onto the wall and when it bounces off the wall try to control the ball so that u'll be able to kick back onto the wall as soon as possible.
I'm a football player for selangor chinese and also a coach in secondary school.

Depends on how far do u wan to go...
The best choice is to join an academy, what u can learn there, u can never learn outside.
First thing u shud do is to bruish up ur stamina, Football is endurance sport, u cannot avoid that. For long distance runs, try aim to run for distance, not speed, therefore u dun have to run fast, just around 40% of ur speed. For short distance runs, aim for speed, do short burst of sprints that involve changing directions.
Stamina training is the most painful part of football but my coach said b4
"now when u run u cry, but when u play football u make ur opponent cry".
When it comes to technical part, the best thing is to kick the ball against the wall, learn how to tame the ball, kick against the wall, control it, then kick back. Understand the ball, read how the ball bounce, get the ball in ur mind, anticipate the flight of the ball. Do this for hours a day. U can try throwing the ball against the wall and learn how to chest/head it too. And when u get better, try to kick the ball against the wall with only one touch. There are many things u can do with the wall. And one more thing, U dun have to buy expensive gears.. Balls that are use to kick against the wall will spoil quickly, therefore buy a damn cheap ball like those from tesco, rm 12 only. Train like this everyday until u get to master the ball. Cause the first thing u have to learn in football, is how to keep the ball under ur control, not the ball control u! Even the best players like Messi and Cristiano had gone through this.
Marco Van Basten said b4 " You must make friends with the ball"
Of coarse there are more advance skills to learn in football, but for basics, this is it.

dont forget acting/diving skill.... nowdays it is a must, to act injured like kena shot by sniper even though the opposing team touch you a bit only acting/diving skill very important especially during tournament, you can use it to get opposing team red carded.. watch and learn from the pros like ronaldo, drogba, robben and even torres now can act
