i liek the "imitate" part mentioned by mr.dabudin.. its actually true you know... try imitating styles, passes, shots or whatever you can gain from viewing. like for example: football replays are one of them.. see their positioning, kicking style, dribble etc etc etc...
but liek mr.headhunter said, master the basics first.. ball control, passing etc etc etc etc.. and yes, there will be some donkeys smiling and giving you those fed up looks.. lol... ignore those idiots... good luck |

QUOTE(bigbangformula @ Jul 1 2010, 03:57 PM) OMG the first few replies were utter rubbish.. TS is ghey! But thanks for the proper tips,I will surely try it out..And yea,I think there are certain idiots who criticizes you for not playing well, making the team that you are in lose, giving you stupid comments, and smiling like an idiot everytime you get the ball because they think you are gonna fail.. And no,it's not because of the world cup,it's because i love anything that has to do with a ball, you get what I mean? back to topic, anyway, which area are you in? sometimes really need somebody to coach you. |

Well,I don't play serious football with strangers and get body parts broken, there's no serious tackling and fouling,in fact we don't even tackle people, just casual game,I play with a bunch of friends, but I'm not very close with them wan la..so when I make mistakes I do notice they don't really like it..
But got one time I play in a wet field, because it just rained,I kaki ayam and play, darn I was slipping and sliding everywhere!Couldn't even play properly! |

protip 1: should your face to close proximity to any flailing arms, remember to immediately cover your face and fall to the ground while screaming for time-out.
protip 2: should an opponent's foot slightly tap any parts of your lower body, remember to swing your arms upward and fall dramatically to the ground and shout REF! |

No thx,I don't wanna buy that book just to learn soccer,I mean the Internet has got those stuff too!But I just want real-life people's opinions here..
And I suck at goalkeeping though,I prefer to play defender..is that a good choice for first-timers?Can't expect a first-timer to play as striker right? |
