guys lest say if i bought burnout paradise from ea store can i use the registration code provided by ea and activate it with steam?

yup they did, they give me a number ticket that they give, and i should handwrite the number ticket at my CD Key, then take a picture give them.

well, it may be low tech, but i think that is the most effective, quick way to let steam support know that you indeed have a hard copy of the cd keys.

what happens to those steam accounts who did not have any retail store steam games?

Thats why you have paypal . You jsut attach your paypal transcation details , if its credit card , just snap picture of your credit card statement (or onlne version) and send it to valve !

I know Blizz do that too about the "write something next to the CD-Key, take a picture and send it to us" kind of thing.

Good way to actually prove you own the stuff without having to find back receipts and stuff

What? I didn't keep those credit card statements! Moreover, the credit card statements didn't mention the purchased game titles so what info can Steam Support get from just the statement alone? rclxub.gif

Same here, however, I do keep the receipts generated as well as emails sent by Steam though.

All in PDF format.
