If you do not own any of these games and are interested in some, it's quite a good deal.

Stuff like the Warhammer 40K guys, Company of Heroes are excellent RTS.

Metro is very new game, Stalker is pretty good survival-fps-sandbox if you like the style.

Titan Quest is still very good Diablo like

Rest I know less but yes, it's a good deal if you do not own much of the individual games yet smile.gif

http://www.gamersgate.com  is doing summer sale. Many games 75% off, but most of the games are not really popular (but good) games.
*
not to bad, 75% sales on quite a lot of stuff.

I bought Men of War Red Tide on steam for 6.49usd when there it's at 5.

Quite a few of the 1C games are quite good.

But yar, GamersGate is more on the "niche" games, especially when it comes to strategy games.

wat is this??
does it work like steam?
if i buy ,where can i dl the game?
*
You buy from them then you can download a small exe from them that will act as a downloader for the rest of the game.

No extra client on your computer like Steam, the speed was alright for me too.

I can download it fine here in China,

So more SEA is out maybe, but not US only.

It seems interesting but well, small free game.

well, its US region locked so must put http://store.steampowered.com/app/39000/?cc=us into url bar in firefox, login, then click install. done.
if put http://store.steampowered.com/app/39000/ the page will not show up at all.

well, for those using malaysia ip address to connect to the internet, that is.

so it is not region locked in china oh?
*
Nope, I think it's just locked in some countries, but it is not US only.

In my steam, using my normal IP, I just had to type Moonbase in the steam search to find and download it.
No need to use the ?cc=us or proxy.

Weird it's locked in Msia but not China really...
Could be temporary though, its only beta.
And locking for such FREE game is quite silly ^^

It's more of a PR stunt from NASA really, like how American Army was PR stuff for US army.

But hey, it's something with a different concept and it's free, I am not going spit on it.

Hum, just finished downloading Serious Sam but looks like only the Vs Multiplayer mode is enabled, no single player, no coop.

Meh, wasted bandwitdh really...

"Play the full game for free" my ass

Edit: confirmed by the Dev on Steam forum, it is a "mistake that it is shown as Full free game"

Steam forum (the dev reply is the last on the page)

Piece of crap really

Oh for f*** sake:

Free weekend mishap - THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT
The awkward situation where the banner says "play the full game", while the game actually only allows versus levels to be played is a result of miscommunication along the lines between development and marketing.

We are very sorry that this has happened, but I can assure you this was out of Croteam's control. In any case, we (Croteam) have decided that the only fair way to remedy this is by fixing the game to allow unlimited access to all game modes, including Single Player, Cooperative, Survival, Beast Hunt and all others.

Note that due to time zone differences we cannot do this immediately, but we will do our best efforts to get it fixed ASAP. It should be enabled correctly before Saturday, so everyone should get their free weekend.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that our customers understand that not everything is under our control nor can everything be done without ever making a mistake. However, we stay committed to giving the best service possible to them.

Steam forum

I just uninstalled the game yawn.gif

I just got pwned by Croteam... blush.gif

Well, I got first pissed off then saw the humour in it.

Reinstalling now, I am happy I am not on capped internet though
And the game is only 2,1Gb so it's not so bad.

Recently my friend got his account "hijacked" by scammers as he was stupid enough to give out details , but then I can't really say he is stupid as he managed to paste the log and save it.

Oh man, that's one lame scam attempt.

The semi-poorly way the "steam guy" sentences are built automatically would have raised flags with me... even if you forget they will NOT ask for your details by chat...

I mean... "Affirmative"?
"let's do it"?
"got hacked by someone"?

I have to write business emails every day to customers and stuff like these are simply not professional enough for a customer service in my opinion.

Oh and for god sake your transcript even have the "Never tell your password to anyone." at the very top which made me lol tongue.gif

And pasting the logs itself might not be proof enough for Steam no? Screenshots are always better I think, much harder to fake.

Guys i`m experiancing problem on payment
It seem steam reject all of my 3 card
I also notice that steam upgraded their payment system, which now they save your card info (u gotta retype if change card kan? this time no nid)

have anyone buy game today experiancing it?
*
I didnt buy game today so cannot say much about your issue but about the "save your card info", I think that was an option that was there before no?
I remember the small checkbox "Allow steam to save my biling info for faster checkout next time" or whatever they named it before.

Mine has been saved for a while on my home computer.

Like, I don't have the type anything when I checkout, it saved my debit card info, address and co.

So, If I Have 2 Steam Accounts.
I Also Can Play At The Same Time in 2 Pcs?
Wht Is Credentials btw?
*
When you buy one game it is linked to one account.

So if two accounts, you would have to pay for the game two times.

Usually you can have the game installed on few computers but only one computer can play the game at a time.

It's a puzzle game,

Done by the creators of Ai Wars so should not be too crappy for sure, I have not tried it myself though.
