for what reason tech2 will increase the price? his total cost per console remain as before...hmmm he might get huge profit for those jack sparrow supporters...and create this gimmick " when xbox360 slim release , the previous console would getting increase in term of pricing"..the previous model should be more cheaper and cheaper , cause its not in production anymore

Xbox is microsoft gold pot, why them spend such a large project on pc ?

anyway, from some local reliable source, PS3 also will be modded, around this 1-2 year (dont burn me if slowpoke )

a lot of games released on both xbot and ps3, they fits nicely into a normal DVD for the xbot...

please don't agree. its been 4 years the ps3 and still no crack. has any console in history take >4 years to crack. so u really thing it will be sooner or later? even if crack, there is 2 types - crack and practical, and crack and not practical. u think after 4 year it has not been cracked, it will finally be crack and practical?

xbox modded is just good for one thing - pirate games. and d price to pay for it is no online play. that is a lousy tradeoff. even if u don't intend to play online now, u will want to in d future. single player game usually i sell it after finish "conquering" it. but multiplayer i keep it practically forever coz u never get bored with it.

George Hotz (that dude who jailbreaked iPhone..but I don really remember his name, hope I'm correct) Announced earlier this year said he can now manupulate the PS3's hypervisor with much more privilage than XBOX's JTAG MOD. That why Sony disabled the "Install Other OS" feature.

If its true..Ill sell my Xenon console and get the Slim..woot

Only logic why they will increase old Xbox 360 modded is maybe because MS will not continue production of it.

Not true. I never get bored with my offline games. RPGs rulez. And i never get bored with Burnout Paradise Ultimate.

Well, different people have different preferences.

I have an unmodded box, i am subscribing gold membership, i bought tons of games, but i don't go online mp, i hardly download DLC, AND i am still happy. Some people might think it's stupid and a waste of money, but still, i am happy and not bored.

I bought it in 2007. Then it kena 3ROD a year later..Fortunately I was able to exchange it since got warranty(Thats why I bought ori). So its a 2 year old refurbished console that still works like a charm..

So if the old consoles price increase,I think should just sell it off and get a Slim..
