Hey guys,

Today i went to Tech 2 at SG Wang to check on the price of Xbox slim, the staff(a Chinese lady) said that the stock will be arrive in July and the xbox slim has no modded console. Is that true?

Due to the unavailability of modded console, the price of previous version xbox (modded) will increase. The lady said they r going to increase the price in July. Is that also true ??

i never understand y people spend nearly rm1.5k on a console that can't play online. using a laptop paradigm, would u buy a laptop that can't connect to internet for 1.5k?

well..probably what they want is just to kill time or play after work for half and hour and that's all..working life and school life is diff ok...

not everybody here is aged below 15 or hardcore gamers who got nothing to do but to indulge and demand the most impressive gming experience.

laptop on the other hand is an important everyday tools, and comparing lappie to a game console is total nuts...its diff category of goods...needs and wants...

i gave a laptop analogy coz everybody can relate to a laptop. i am not comparing them in terms of gaming.

to elaborate, say u don't use internet, would u still buy a laptop for 1.5k that has not internet capability? what if i want to use it one day when i am finally ready to go on the internet? do i have to spend another 1.5k for that? (if my laptop is an xbox i would be doing that, that is)

oic..ok..now i understand ur point of comparison... earlier i tot tat u're comparing gaming experience...

cos if comparing gaming experience, not all wants to have the best in the industry..most just want to have pure simple fun (kinda explains y sales of Wii is off the roof)

yea maybe. i understand some dont' care. but i don't understand why they don't care. maybe coz they haven't tried. but i don't understand why they don't care to try. maybe they just like old school gaming. but i don't understand why they don't venture out to new school

if you really have to know, its because they have both modded xbox360 and ps3 so if they want to go online they'll use ps3 (free online gaming as well)

I spend not just spend RM1.3K for a dumb xbox360 and also a 6.5K plasma to pare with it LOl , i was dumb, i guess.
not everyone would spend hours everyday for online gaming

hmm well u can say it this way, if u have not tested that drug(whatever it is) u wont get addicted to it. all my friends after coming my house for playing online, they all bought a unit & join in online. so for those that had not tested the drug b4 they would just follow back the ps1-ps2 days.

more easy way of saying, if u have never fcuk some 1 b4 u would never know how it felt to fcuk some 1, or let it be the other way =P

I always wonder why modded 360 is allowed to be discussed. It's only about piracy. You don't need a modded 360 for you not to online, you can play offline with virgin 360 no problem at all.
