my saga knight rpm meter sometime jumping sometime wont move
and that count kilometer there also stop already
is it broken already?
if change new will cost how much?

just change my plug. a lot of carbon on it. how to clear those carbon inside engine???

Yesterday death of my 4G13 .........kena at Highway KM128.8U......way to melaka.......damn.......valve patah.......head k.o.....piston number 2....total lost......

Any idea how much these hoses cost? Am gonna get it at the spare part shop..

Just replaced the spark plugs.

These are the spark plugs which have been running for slightly more than 20,000kM (20,050kM I guess)

im rather use copper radiator than semi aluminium radiator.....but want use aluminium,i preffer fully alualuminium...now im use double layer copper radiator

guys, any idea on the location of the air intake sensor on the 4g15 ..

my bad, actually all spark plugs r having the same physical condition and I think it's because of the wrong exposure setting of the camera hence the darker image which looks like the spark plug has been contaminated with burnt engine oil.

Despite the looks, but all the spark plugs r dry, perhaps it's burnt oil, I'm not sure.

Engine oil was lessen by roughly 10% (did not precisely measure, so the figure is juz a rough assumption) frm 3.5L after 20,000kM of usage without any top-up in between. So I suppose this was cause by valve-seals but I dare not confirm since I haven't done any cylinder compression test on the engine yet after been driven for more than 80,000kM, it could cause by the wear n tear of the piston rings and cylinder walls.

Crankcase ventilation has been vented directly to the atmosphere instead of being routed back into the air intake. But I guess this doesn't really issue related to the oil lost.

im new here..need a guide for my iswara...
do u all have any problem with the wiring..my iswara have a few problem with the lamp...e.g signal lamp, radio lamp, bonnet trunk lamp and etc...

i already check all the fuse inside..all are ok...can any one suggest a solution or a shop that can settle this prob...

Sifus, a noob question. My 1.3 standard iswara has been jerking during low rpm but no problem when it gets more than 2000 rpm. A mechanic said I need to clean my carb and re-tune it again and will cost around RM190. For some reason it sounds a little too expensive for me. Is that the price for Carb cleaning + tuning? Any shops to recommend around PJ area?

temperature sensor,it at bottom of radiator in pic...beside blue host......it maybe rm10 or more.......but to change it...ur can DIY or workshop....if workshop it costly and this work time consuming

if look at the back of the radiator, its at the bottom right i think
look for a wire going the bottom of the radiator
pull it out and check if its 1 or 2 pins
there are two types
get the japan one
its a bit hard to find but more reliable
less than rm30
the malaysian one is 10-15bucks
but not that good
its easily a DIY job all you need is an open end spanner that fits the sensor
its maybe a 10minute job at the most
advised to do it in the morning once the engine has cooled down totally
open the radiator cap to check that pressure is zero
THEN CLOSE THE CAP BACK FULLY as this will minimize fluid loss
know where the sensor is
pull out the wires when leaning over the top
it uses a plastic socket thinggy
get under the car and locate the sensor
get the spanner onto it and crack it lose
have the new sensor ready and make sure the gasket is on and the threads are clean
once the old sensor on the radiator is hand lose, it will start to drip a bit
remove the spanner and start to unscrew it...make sure you are holding it in place so that it doesnt fall off once the last thread is past
once its totally unscrewed, quickly remove it and stop the hole with your thumb
get the new sensor into place with your other hand and swap it into place from your thumb and screw it in
you will maybe lose 50ml of fluid
make sure you dont force the threads to avoid damaging them
screw the new sensor in until it is hand tight
use the spanner to tighten it maybe a 1/4 turn more...cukup rasa
then plug in the wire(s)
now open the radiator cap and top up the water as required
and you are done

no more than 10 minutes
(speaking from experience)

hey guys...i own one iswara aeroback year 1995.... so far i had changed the engine once... but this car really need a major rebuild work.... as for now, the car hood and dashboard shake like hell when rpm is lower than 1k... as far as i understand, this is majorly because of the engine mounting right? if it is because of the mounting, how much usually will it cost to change 1 set of the mounting including the installation fees and any recommended workshop for this work? and another thing, this car when i hit a bump or rough road, the sounds is like shit... its like "kedebang kedebang", i think its from the doors.. anyone know how to rectify this?
