It dependent on users actually lol~
Some like hard mats, some like soft mats.
Some like small, some like big.
Therefore, very hard to give advice except when people tell their preferences.
I use Razer Kabuto and it works fine with me then lol~

What about fUnc Industries. They really did make THE best gaming mouse pad before everyone jumped on the bandwagon. Too bad I can't seem to find one now and their online store is broken.

Second that. We have a "Gaming headset" club but now already drop until page 8.

Don't think it will last long though.

Another forumite, PoPoBear I think complained that his G5's glides got eaten by the Destructor's surface pretty quickly. After he changed to a QcK+ he had no problems.

Another one of my friends is using a Destructor with his Imperator and does not suffer from glide damage at all though.

Nope, none which I know of. I can try borrowing the Destructor from my friend and see if several days of gaming has any effect on my Ikari's glides. It needs to be replaced soon anyway.

I'm happy with my QcK. I don't like hard pads anyway. If I need to change, most likely I'll get a QcK+ for it's size.
