what the difference between sata and sata II

if i used sata hardisk can i use sata II hardisk

But HDD limitation come from its speed ability itself aka write/read within itself, not the interface of Sata.

Just like a car that has top speed on 120km/h,
putting the car into a highway that can drive 120km/h vs 240km/h, make little difference.
