Today a sad thing happened to me..my 1tb WD10EARS died, bringing along with it all my RAWs..Cannot detect at bios, but can hear/feel the HDD spinning. Any ideas how to fix this?

Also, would it be better to take 2TB over 1TB? If yes, do please recommend me some models. For OS/software/storage.

The suspected dead HDD is used only for storage. Tried pluging it at other rig, still cant detect even at BIOS. Even tried different port, cable. Still no luck.

Could it be that the logic board is fried? If yes how to get it replaced? Is it on sale?

Again my HDD is 1TB WD10EARS. I need the data inside it before i RMA it.
