This is just a matter of time. Don't hope for 6 months than the HDD will decrease. It will a year and maybe more. If you dont have time, pls do spent some time to do housekeeping on your HDD. Backup only important thing. Anime and Movies which you already watch you can delete it as you are not going to watch it again or backup up in DVD. Don't waste your money!!!!!!

Backup DVD consuming time, very troublesome and RM20 for 10 pieces. If you want to get HDD now its ok. But the price is very very the expensive.
But i am still wondering why got this one shop still selling 1TB for 170. huhhh...

At least save space a little for now. I also experience my HDD faulty, The data that burn in DVD save me a lot even though its a bundle of DVDs.

Hmm... then i think he can also go for Toshiba or Samsung... since the internals of a buffalo is mostly Samsung.... since buffalo never manufacture their own HDD.....

Me got a Toshiba 1TB 2.5" 2 weeks ago too... at digitalmall.... at ALLIT

True, i will never go for Seagate again because my Seagate freeagent suddenly died without any reason and all my data gone. It is just 2 years of using it and seldom use.I know its "NASIB". All things are not perfect. For warranty no point ,because the important thing is the data and very costly to recover it. I'm very sad because some of my work, personal stuff and research inside there. I cannot sleep the whole week because of losing very important data.

For heavy stuff like pictures, double back up. They don't take up that much space, unless you shoot in RAW and keep every single copy of it
For work related/ research, etc. I use
