I like to ask, is there a way to run SAS drives on desktop WITHOUT those PCIE SAS RAID cards?

QUOTE(jchue73 @ Nov 13 2010, 02:50 PM) Unfortunately not. But SATA drives on SAS controllers, yes. Hell, then is there any other way to run them on desktop? Don't think i'll get a SAS RAID card cause' the price was quite steep for me to get one Added on November 13, 2010, 2:55 pm Actually, that cable is meant to convert a SAS drive so that you can use the SATA port on the SAS controller. Remember, you can run SATA drives on SAS controllers. |
