The case mate Barely There is soft/hard case ??
Can share out the person who sell white case mate BT ??

Since quite a lot ppl rooted their desire to use froyo,
Can give some feedback for the microSD u all using??
I'm searching madly in the forum for class 6, but got no luck....
saw someone sell Kingston MicroSD class 4.
Anyone uses that on froyo and how's the performance??
Scare get class 4, then install the apps into the microSD card, the app laggs..
currently using 2Gb, dun have enuff space..  sad.gif

I got mine at sri computers in lowyat plaza for rm75.. transcend class 6 8GB.. the leaked froyo sense rom has been tuned and tweaked by the xda devs. Quite stable and fast. previously i tried FRF91 vanilla for desire but i cant live without sense ui.. lol.. surprisingly this froyo sense rom has a quite similar performance but huge of user experience satisfaction thanks to htc sense indeed.

hi,

the 512mb of a2sd can be set any size you want? 1gb or 2gb also can? i see..need to unmount first. allright..just want to confirm everything before i buy this phone or sgs.

ya,agreed. every phone got good and bad side. for htc, quite a lots of rom available and apps as well. sgs still new maybe need sometimes for the development of roms.

thanks thanks

We would end up unmounting from pc after all ait xD.. i solely rely on rom manager to flash and partition my sd card. Currently on rom manager it allows up to 512Mb but i believe that u could partition it higher using other method or manually. Im still new and considered noob in rooting and flashing but rom manager works like charm and easy indeed + less hassle. They did say its idiot proof btw xD

No idea but i have a BT for 3GS and its actually a hard case but the back does have some kind of rubber / soft material, probably not to scratch the back cover. But thats on the 3GS, not sure about the Desire version.

Here is a brief step on how to partition using Rom Manager
1.backup ur sd stuffs and on phone (titanium backup and mybackup pro recommended)
2. Format sd card using ur phone
3. download rom manager, install latest clockworkmod recovery via the app
4. Choose partition sd card inside rom manager app.. set 512mb for ext3 size, 0mb for swapfile
5. place ur new rom u wish to flash at root and apply wipe n install using rom manager..

Its quite simple to flash and install and create partitions using rom manager. Errors are reduced too.

Those sd partitions are hidden linux partition inside ur sd card where app2sd will use it as an app storage location if the rom is using a2sd+. Im using leodroid mod where it just needs ext3 partition where it can be easily created using rom manager. Other roms might require different type of partition btw but i see mostly now using ext3 on froyo sense rom. Rom manager is a flashing lifesaver.

hi,

thanks for your brief step. i guess it helps a lots of people here and understand more on how to partition the sd card.

only those rom come with a2sd or a2sd+ can move the app to sd card right and with a ext3 512mb max size? cool..so those few apps like titanum backup, rom manager and clockworkmod is needed for rooting and partition. anyway what is the difference between the rom manager and clockworkmod? both can flash rom and do partition?

lol..windows based user suddenly jump to linux. totally lost...

Rom manager is the app u download from the market. U can download it now and have a peek but u cant use it unless u have root access. Froyo a2sd does not need a partition and u can move to phone back or vice versa. The app also must allow it to be moved in order to work. A2sd+ is the super a2sd which is used by developers and hackers as it is more flexible and more reliable for them comparing to froyo a2sd move function.

U can access the native recovery via pressing volume down and power button upon startup. That is the original recovery. When using rom manager, u can install a 3rd party recovery menu (the clockmod recovery) which works more simple and easier to navigate. ROM manager also can help u to partition sd and to flash, just simply point the ROM zip file and ur phone will auto apply, wipe, reboot and install that new ROM. smile.gif

Im explaining this in a noob point of view btw.. if anyone spotted mistake, do correct me smile.gif .. im still 2weeks old in rooting and flashing. Loads more to learn

Arghh... my phone is having problem with my SIM after I restarted it. It can't register to the network, try the SIM to another phone and vice versa, everything is OK, as if the phone does not compatible with the SIM sad.gif
