Roms are free - but you are encourage to donate if you can,  to the rom cook. If you don't want to donate , you can still download and there is no limit how many times you can download. If you want special preconfigure roms up to your own choices - try Modaco at  http://android.modaco.com/category/430/htc...ire-modaco-com/ .  you need to pay a small contribution once only - with this you can use his online kitchen to bake any rom for any phone that he'd developed; again no limitation

I believe there's a new Handcent that will fix just that. Update your copy now.

Just got myself the melkco leather case - vintage black..cool...

seems like on mine every apps is installed on SD.. there is no move option btw on a2sd+ if im not mistaken since everything is forced to be install in that ext3. Try downloading quick system info from market and see on the basic info, it should show A2SD storage details. Mine says : Total 458MB Free : 293MB
Agreed, FAQ should be updated with rooting info.. we cant blame new dudes for not using the search function as perhaps some r really new indeed to this atmosphere but for some others.. ehem2 (including me also lazy  )

about sending back to warranty, seems like the desire dosent have that Solex lock on the boot.. i did ask some guys at Nexus1 and they said the desire dosent have that but it is visible on nexus one. Its not confirmed that sending a rooted and loaded with custom rom desire bout getting back warranty.. but at least unroot it and flash back original stock rom so that there wont be any issues when sending as since we dont have the visible Solex locker at boot. Lets try to just to be on the safe side  . Does anyone have any supporting opinions or details regarding this one?

btw, been wondering, does anyone appear to came across our current stock rom file? Its on hboot 0.80 btw if im not mistaken b4 i did the root on mine

So technically its better to get ap? I was worried if buy ap can't get OTA updates coz phone from overseas

I believe the same case happens for both SDHC & MicroSDHC.
It is not easy to get class 6. Most ppl carry class 2, 4 or 10 if i m not wrong.
So instead of getting class 6, u guys may consider class 10 which shld b easier to get. But of cos it is more expensive.
I got my class 10 SDHC card at LYP Sri Computer too. And i notice that PJ Digital Mall 2nd or 3rd floor has plenty of memory card there.

It is not MicroSDHC. Mine is 8gb class 10 SDHC sandisk memory card.
I got it for around RM180-195 if i m not wrong. 

I've tried almost all the custom froyo+sense available in XDA to test the battery life. All of them have similar battery drain

I'm using ShakeThemAll Live Wallpaper with one of the Gelaskin wallpapers. Ordered the gelaskin yesterday and will be receiving in few weeks time. Will post some screenshots here soon.

I really like the BlackExpresso Mod. It makes the phone interface looks so sleek 
BTW LeeDroid bootanimation is ugly. The stock Nexus one bootanimation is a lot nicer.

Mind to tell what was your previous ROM?

I ordered directly from this website http://www.gelaskins.com/store/skins/phones/HTC_Desire. Buy 3 free 1 lol. Ordered 2 desire and 2 iphone wallpapers from there.
You can just select any skin you like and download directly from there.

I'm using blue willow gelaskin with geelong football club droid skin for shakethemall. Very nice but don't know how to take screenshot to share here.
