Using P8700 2.53Ghz
Ram= 3GB only ( 1x1GB+1X2GB)
Just now i edit edit a little,memory usage shot up to 2GB, where LR3 took up 1GB I think.
Perhaps little ram? Might get a 2GB stick as it's kinda cheap, around RM79 for DDR3 iinm

@LightningFist
You can get those generic silicon keyboard protectors, I guess at most computer stores?
I'm currently using a NC2000 for my SXPS 1640. Works like a charm. You can refer to my review using it in the "Notebook Cooler section" on the first page. Full aluminium, works extremely well with air conditioned rooms..

QUOTE(fashion01 @ Feb 22 2011, 04:46 PM) Hi guys, Would like to get the XPS 16 but can someone please let me know whether the 16" Ultrasharp full HD display is good? My main usage of this lappie is for photo editing. What is the difference between XPS 16 and XPS 15 as well? Thanks in advance! I think you're better off with an external IPS monitor as conventional laptop screens and standalone LED backlit monitors are not that well known for colour accuracy

QUOTE(hidz7 @ Mar 1 2011, 09:39 PM) yeah heard about that too. because the heat from the laptop might spoil the battery. Heat degrades the battery's lifespan My battery wear level is around 11% already @ysc If I'm not mistaken, some variants of the i5 has integrated graphics card, known as GMA HD

Notice how if you zoom using "ctrl+" , only LYN seems to be very laggy, but not other websites?
Anyway, I'm displaying mine at 150% text size, 1:1 for LYN only, and at 1080p
And hows' this squint thingy?

Funneh. I dunno what I clicked last time, but everytime I set a lower resolution, the screen size shrinks instead of the pixels filling up the whole screen

Nope there's nothing there. I downloaded the latest one: 11.5 .Saw the option there and managed to change it from "centered" to full screen I think But it f-ed up my gaming performance. I used to get like 24-30 fps for UT3 but now I'm getting like 10-17fps lol. Checked the box for performance already, and other necessary options. Now reverting back to 10.11 first to confirm whether it's the driver problem? Edit: Uninstalling CCC and playing without it gives me back my usual 24-30fps performance This post has been edited by -kytz-: May 12 2011, 06:28 PM
