Chia, Cheah, Sia or Seah = 谢(Hokkien)
Tse or Tze = 谢(Cantonese)
Xie = 谢(Mandarin, maybe common use for mandarin speaker)

Please pardon my ignorence but is surname 'Tan' the most powerful clan in Malaysia? I knew some friend with surname 'Tan'. One is rich and the other is super Smart.
