what you currently have (mp3 players, amps, soundcard etc)
- what type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc)
- source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc)
- type of music listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc)
- personal requirements like type (closed, open, cirumaural, IEM etc).

-BB torch, soundcard? realtek..
-usually music
-mostly mp3
-mostly rock and kpop
-can be circumaural/supra-aural as long as its comfy if you use it for long time..

budget is more or less RM200

Try Senn's HD201/202 or Sennheiser's PX100.

yeah, my friend has that one HD201, im looking for a different and better one....
how about Beyerdynamic DT231, Shure 240 and Grado S60?
*
I think the DT231 is out of your budget, it's priced at ~RM250 if I'm not mistaken.
I've had a brief listen to the DT231 at Jaben but not the Shure and Grados and it (DT231) does sound nice. A tad bit lacking in the lower frequencies and with mellow mids. These are just my impressions from memory so they're not accurate. If you have a chance to listen to them @ Jaben or anywhere else I suggest doing so before making the purchase. I imagine all 3 models sound different.

Anywhere under Rm 1k. I have looked at Sleek Audio SA6 and am quite impressed with it. Haven't really did research on other models though.
Can't tell you specifically but it's a Sony Ericsson slide-phone. :S

any recommendation for closed headphones for around 250?
listen to rock, pop, r&b...
i don't know many things about headphones, but the one im looking for is the one that can make the sounds like the real band is playing with me/beside me...
*
For that price you can try Beyerdynamic DT231 or Sennheiser HD202. The part in bold sounds like an expensive pair of cans hmm.gif

Hi guys,
Im looking for a headphone that is bassy (perharps as bassy as possible). I will be using it for mainly Kpop songs and English pop. My budget would be a maximum of RM 300 , currently im eyeing the Fischer Audio FA-004, has a good review on it but the bass is said to be not good. Any suggestions?
*
Try the Sony XB (Extra Bass) Series Headphones. I've never heard a pair before but judging from reviews on the net, they should fit your requirements.

Hmm, M1 more expensive. It costs rm120 IIRC. Will give a look at Omega too. Hopefully someone who has tested them out can give an opinion. smile.gif

ClieOS posted his review about the Omega among other IEMs here. Hopefully this will help you decide.

Ok, thanks again. Another question, normally new headphone and earphone need to burn 150-200 hours then can get better sound quality. Is just let it play on song or? No matter what song also can? Just let it play 150-200 hours? cool.gif
*
Here's a FAQ about burn-in over at Head-Fi http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/56744/...one-burn-in-faq
I use this program to burn in my headphones, you might find it useful http://www.burninwave.com/generator_dl.htm

The only earphone they have is the HD381s. Unless they just recently released a new model I'm not aware of.

how about their headphone then?
i heard their HD668 is among the best budget headphone
*
It is good for the it's asking price I guess, but I prefer the HD381 more than the HD668B. To me, the HD668B is lacking in the lower frequencies, thus giving it a 'shallow' feel. Like there's not enough 'body' in my songs. But I must admit that I prefer earphones. I just can't seem to get myself to like headphones the same way I do earphones, so I guess you could say my impression is biased tongue.gif
