The default V8 fan is already actually quite loud under full speed @ 2200 RPM.

QUOTE(MystiqueLife @ Jan 4 2011, 05:03 PM) i don't think so, d max so far would be 1900rpm. only excalibur for now reaches 2200rpm n i'm using d similar 'default' fan for d V8 which is sickleflow all around in my casing. excalibur's sound were more... |

my V6GT even worse it doesnt come with the regulator and it always run on max speed 2.2k rpm until i control it using Asus Fan Expert |

I didn't expect i7 TDP to exceed the V8 maximum heat transfer capacity
I thought 180W is more than enough, I was wrong |

QUOTE(MystiqueLife @ Jan 6 2011, 08:27 AM) dual fan wor, of course la more powderful than our V8... anyways, i did few tests last nite regarding d side panel's fan. previously it's set as intake n blow directly to my GC's exhaust. tested without the fan running n finally as exhaust conclusion no fan = temperature is still d same compared to previous intake configuration BUT it takes a while for my GC to cool down to the respective idle temp exhaust = the best i think due to the fact that it helps in reducing the temp of my GC in 1~2'C |

V6 look like V6 engine ma V8 look like v8 engine ma nothing more expect the look and it doesnt equivalent to performance hehe The heat dissipation/transfer rate of V6 is higher than V8. Stupid CM labelling con us. This post has been edited by kevinlim001: Jan 6 2011, 06:20 PM |
