QUOTE(rc2x @ Dec 22 2010, 11:20 PM) Nice setup liao lar. Try to squeeze in those cables behind mobo tray more neat. ya still working on the cable management. the vendor who installed for me left the whole bunch of cables in the casing i organize most of them to the rear of my mobo already.. only left some tiny casing cable flying around no time for that yet.. i doubt the chap who install my hardware actually knows the air flow is important.. another thing is my Haf922 actually doesnt have much place to hide my cable.. kinda sad.. QUOTE(Sib @ Dec 23 2010, 02:42 PM) dayyum, one of my fans is running below 1800rpm, hovering around 15xxrpm. signs of dying? my fan only run about 500rpm optimum and about 800 on performance.. but which fan r u talking abt? processor or? my processor fan also running at about 1500rpm but it will reach 2200rpm on load Added on December 24, 2010, 8:18 amQUOTE(zhafri_abdullah @ Dec 24 2010, 06:18 AM) Guys using the HAF-X (especially overclockers), do u guys swith the top fans to become intakes instead of exhausts..? any suggestions on fan setups to lower temps..? i m not sure about ur setup but this is the setup from CM official. if u put it as intake the only hot air exhaust will be at the rear.. you will suck alot of air but the air all trap within the case as the exhaust is too slow.. anyway do correct me as i am a newbie here This post has been edited by kevinlim001: Dec 24 2010, 08:18 AM

y not try to lower down the speed when you do not want to use it? i tot V8 comes with a regulator..
my V6GT even worse it doesnt come with the regulator and it always run on max speed 2.2k rpm until i control it using Asus Fan Expert

QUOTE(Sib @ Jan 5 2011, 09:03 AM) i prefer to run it to its max all d time so tat my proc won't overheat. after all, i oc it quite aggressively, frm 3.2 to 3.9GHz currently for phenom II X4 btw, tuniq tx-2 + excalibur = 3~4'C diff compared to my previous reading using CM's thermal paste n sickleflow edit : oh btw, i dun mind d noise most of d time act I m not sure abt yours but there a the bundled software from my mobo allow me to sync the processor load the the fan load so my fan will always go with my processor 10% processor load = 10% fan load Added on January 6, 2011, 6:20 pmQUOTE(MystiqueLife @ Jan 6 2011, 02:27 PM) It's not about the fan, it's the design I think. The heat dissipation/transfer rate of V6 is higher than V8. Stupid CM labelling con us. V6 look like V6 engine ma V8 look like v8 engine ma nothing more expect the look and it doesnt equivalent to performance hehe This post has been edited by kevinlim001: Jan 6 2011, 06:20 PM
